Next head coach: Joe Harasymiak?

If Greg doesn't last past this year, how would people feel about Harasymiak potentially? He had success at I-AA as a HC, is from Jersey, has been a successful B1G coordinator and just coached the pants off of our current HC.

He's young too, but I'd imagine that most fans would want a full split from the GS era.

Would he even take it or wait for something else if he has success this season?

F no. Beating Schiano means nothing. We need a three degree separation from the Schiano stink. No one who worked with anyone who worked with anyone who worked for Schiano. Everything he did needs to be destroyed and built entirely the opposite way.

He’s a great D coordinator .
Wish he stayed there for us , things would be very very different for this program if Greg was able to retain him vs Joe walking into Umass. Likely couldve seen a 8+ win regular season in 2025 if Joes defense stuck around

Can you imagine the fun the media would have if we hired Harasymiak. I think he may turn out to be a good head coach but between the light track record and the 16 game losing streak - ridiculous. And one thing we know with the impact of NIL is that 1) ties to NJ, 2) Ties to Rutgers and 3) relationships with NJ high school coaches is no longer important.
