Yikes, yeh my RU gear (shirts, hats, shorts, etc) is on a hiatus too. I guess I'll reconsider if we beat BC and the Howard gimme, don't get embarrassed by SC and Indy, and find ways to win at MD and NW...so basically turn the season around on a dime.

I just wish I could come up with some reasonable replies to their comments about RU. That's not usually a problem for me. But I admit to struggling for one of the few times in my life. I got nothing.

oh, I am not saying the football sh*tshow doesn’t deserve any/all criticism starting with Greg. It’s the nonsense that the university itself sucks, we don’t belong in the big ten-the benefits far outweigh the football team. I would prefer the university gave up football (& paying hs kids million) than leave the league.

Wrong you are not. I had my Rutgers gear ready for Friday office wear and now will have to be selective when to wear. The embarrassment this team caused the University was immeasurable. Unfortunately my primary hats are Rutgers, Mets, SF Giants, SF 49ers, NY Giants, and GS Warriors. The theme is obviously bleak. Will push those to the back for the SJ Sharks as the ray of hope.

I'm hiking a section of the Appalachian Trail in Maine this week with a group of "old" RU buddies, and to my surprise, one is sporting an RU ball cap. When I was packing for the trip, my lid selection did not include one of my RU caps, and I have a half-dozen or so. Just couldn't do it.

Well IDK..depending on Fri that could be the one place to wear it.. IF we beat BC and then our recent wins over them are 2 - 0. Over cuse... RU won last 3 and 7 - 3 last 10.
