He's comically bad in this game. They know he can't throw and can now T-off on the run. Wide open guys and he can't get the ball anywhere near them.

I have no idea what that playcalling was. I guess when your QB can't complete a pass all you can do is run right into the teeth of the defense and they know it's coming.

This right here is bad coaching. Kicked the FG with 8 secs. on play clock. Run it down to 0 and call TO.

Winston only had 66 attempts in 2025 and his other years were meagre. A lot of these back-ups sit a long time and lose the magic they had left. In a week of practice he might improve a lot

It is - Shaolin martial arts masters whack their hands into stone blocks and bags of metal beads. If people want stronger joints, connective tissues and facia then they have to be built via use stresses and not isolated stretching and weights. A boxer and such wont get stronger avoiding sparing

That’s a helluva lot of money on that Dline to do absolutely nothing. The rookie 2nd rd. DB Hood also looks lost. Hopefully with some experience he can be serviceable

Why not Brian Burns tonight too?

Not sure I’ve gone from the high of beating the Cowboys last week to the low of tonight so dramatically. At least with Rutgers, I never get the high.

This type of stuff only happens to the Giants. Can’t remember another game were the top 4 players on a team all got injured. Season is probably done already

Well, it looks like the seasons over folks. Probably get a top 10 pick with Jameis leading the way. This is some really, really bad times for us Rutgers/Giants fans. On the other hand, my fall weekends have become completely free.

Yup sucks. If it is an ACL that may even hinder him next year too. They say it takes two full seasons to come completely back, even for QB's. They would be wise to strongly consider drafting one next year IMO. Availability is an ability.
I'm gonna try and work most Sundays now. Gotta capitalize on that double time

Please God no. I'd rather have Jimmy Garoppolo who's sitting on a couch somewhere. They should try and kick the tires on him and see if there's any tread left. That is if he even wants to play football any longer.

Still, the Giants had a final cut decision between Tommy or Jamis. Obvs they went with Jamis which I felt was a mistake and here we are, Tommy has good stats and was perfectly serviceable as a back-up (who was also affordable ). Jamis was a popularity contest. He had skills but QB play is a perishable skill like guitar. Every year that you see limited action the worse you get. Plus Jamis is another injury prone player like half the Giants (Skattebo will be next)

Two weeks ago when they extended Jami’s everyone said how good of a signing it was. He gotta be better than what we saw the other night.
Just look how much bad luck they have had with injuries. I highly doubt any other team has been this jinxed.

Gymnasts, figure skaters and divers say they have to practice to maintain their spatial awareness. I think football has elements of "contact awareness." When players are in pile-ups, being tackled, dodging tacklers etc, they develop a sense of how to move - or not - under fire. All positions are contact positions in football and QBs can't be bubble wrapped all through camp just to get walloped in September

Any idea's that Jameis could look more competent with an offense tailored to his skill set, have been dispelled pretty quickly. Our O looks like the Keystone cops.

2) I don't know which game is worse....ours or The Jets...but they're not playing outdoors in beyond dismal weather lol!

Got extremely lucky at the end. Winston was not good. He was grossly inaccurate. Could be the conditions but Ward was able to throw. They are paying him decent money and will most certainly add a QB this week.

With Burns out, we'll get to hear more excuses for why Carter can't get home on a QB. Every other team manages to get to the QB - not the Giants. 1 sack in 3 games for $100MM in that front 7 - good for 31st in the league.

At least Reese looks like a player.

This was likely driven by the Harbaugh connection from Michigan. I'm not the biggest fan of JJ either -but will give it a chance considering Winston has not looked good in a West Coast timing based offense.

Give Skattebo a few more weeks and he will be out too.
Carter was looking quick as a cat in past games but not sure what goes wrong since I only watch NFL highlights until Nov.
