We brought in talented transfers with muliple years to play. You call it pilfering, I call it a shrewed use of the money available. We have a $20 - $21M budget, the OSUs, Oregons and Indianas are spending $50M.

Diaz and James have both been contributors
Brown, Hawkins, Styles and Haddad show potential at safety
Ozick is kicking off
Phillips was the #2 RB before his injury
Brown is in the two-deeps at DE

Stephen Roth,I believe. Owns the dolphins..billionaire who is a Michigan grad..he also donates to Michigan.
I think Miami also has some other whales throwing big money to Miami BB and fb.

No kidding. Blue bloods tamper and break the rules the most and never get punished. Meantime Kirk jumps the gun offering a broke down McNamara right before portal starts and gets punished. Other hand we have players talking about specifics schools making them offers and nothing done to them. Or even worse when they leave like the ole Miss LB Ferelli sp? Left cal enrolls and commits and signs on the dotted line literally taking classes at Clemson only to get texts from ole Miss coaches and leaves for an even better offer. What happened, of course nothing.

He probably gets several million from OSU and if he is smart and has good people around him he should have a $50 million injury insurance policy. He goes to the NFL after this season and will get many millions in guaranteed money in his rookie contract

So people offered him even though he was not, nor ever was in the portal? Sounds even worse than McNamara… Surely the NCAA will investigate and have those guilty vacate their wins or worse actually since they didn’t even self report 😒

is it possible he was tampered with?..absolutely...it's also possible he made it up....smith won't identify the schools, yet this writer said miami showed interest..does he have a source?..or is the writer making it up for clicks..

The source would be Darian Mensah, bro had a contract with Duke, stated he was returning in December, then magically on the last day of the portal being open, he enters.

duke should have sued him, pretty sure washington's threat to sue demond williams is what kept him on the roster...not sure it keeps mensah at duke, but it would have tied him up in court and wasted his agent's money on litigation..
