This is an underrated rivalry. Consider the following:
1. IC's instant classic win, 63-49, in 2016
2. St. Laurence's win in 2017, IC's only loss en route to the 3A title
3. St. Laurence's upset win in the 2023 playoffs, a year in which most people assumed IC would cruise to the 4A title

Unfortunately, the distance and my health will probably prevent me from attending, but I'm looking forward to updates from @OnVikings! and others.

As a bit of trivia, Laurence, who was martyred on a gridiron, should be considered the patron saint of football players.

Don’t need a Hudl subscription. You can download the Hudl Fan app or Google it in a PC. It’ll suggest you subscribe, but just skip it. I put IC catholic in the search and found it

Rivalry or no rivalry... IC wins by a lot right?
My prediction would be an IC win, 27-13. I don’t think they have the same kind of explosive offense that they’ve had in the past to completely blow teams out. Their passing game is going through a rough stretch

My take on it the last few years is that their offense is just as good as ever, but that they're just playing far better competition than before. Going from the Metro Suburban Conference to the Catholic League is a big jump. Although they don't play this year, their mainstay opponent from both conferences is St. Francis. Seeing how their scores have progressed over the years might be a good barometer.

I don't have a Hudl subscription, so I haven't looked into it, but if it's on YouTube, that would be great.

I am 63 and Tech Impaired, so you shouldn't have too much trouble with Hudl. I'm going to TRY posting the link to the Hudl Fan page below. From there you just start putting team name variations in the search field.

There is one part of Hudl that I have found confusing. If you find the game, that does NOT always mean the Stream is available on Hudl.

To your point from last week, might be time for IC to consider going for two after the first TD of future games
Yes, that's three weeks in a row missing the XP after their first touchdown. Especially with encroachment called on Laurence, I thought they'd go for two.

Halftime. IC cruising with the exception of a few penalties. The defense is looking especially good. I don't believe Laurence has passed midfield.

The delusional BNC faithful think Byron has a chance against IC. They are playing a different game than the rest of 3A
At this point I’d only put IC as a TD favorite against Byron or RB. Their offense isn’t very good right now

Byron always has a chance. I know they are different teams this year. But last years game Byron held IC to six points, won by 22 and ran for 400.
