Agree. Florida looks outstanding. A&M, Georgia , Tennessee obviously are better than us. Clemson seems to be putting the pieces together for another 8-win season.

Arkansas and Texas A&M look bad, Oklahoma is really struggling offensively, Kentucky looks to be a toss up to me. So there are some games remaining on the schedule where we "should" be able to compete, despite our terrible secondary and qb. Unfortunately, I think we may have a few more embarrassing loses ahead for us, Florida, Georgia, perhaps even Tennessee. Unless a change is made at QB, I really doubt we win 6 games. With our defense being so soft this year, it is crucial that our offense sustains long drives and comes away with points. Sellers is not reliable.

my question is are we satisfied with scraping by to be bowl eligible in year 6 with Beamer. Also, I will not discount Clemson against us, they were clobbered by LSU for sure, but they have responded, they did not give up with UNC, furthermore their new young qb is improving.

Im just not seeing it.

This team just isn’t mentally tough. One missed or bad play ruins a drive. They can’t shake off mistakes.

Besides that, we just can’t finish drives. Penalties or something stupid always screw it up.

I was admittedly taking an overly optimistic stance there.

A&M has talent to and down the field. That qb could turn in a switch and destroy us. OU is away, and Clemson has a soft schedule to work on their young qb, and build.

All the difference could come down to if Shane "loses the team", as they say.
