But also in fairness he shouldn’t be here. Hes from GA and was an Ohio State commit first. He would be a national champion and not getting double teamed at OSU, or be an SEC champion and not getting double teamed at UGA. He came here and stayed here to be on a trash team. Has to be frustrating. And hes probably spending more time watching NFL games to see who will be drafting early next year.

This is lost on so many fans today. The days of the fresh faced young man playing football for the love of the game and for the love of good old State U is long gone. These are grown men who are professional athletes. Nothing they do can or should be dismissed as "he's just a kid playing football".

They can join the military, vote, sign contracts, go to prison for long stretches, get married without anyone's permission and do anything else a 35 year old can do. They are grown men.
