No it isnt. The admin has already weighed the pros and cons. Beating UK and going 5-7 vs 4-8 isnt changing that at all. Neither would losing to them. Everyone has already accepted a sub .500 2026 is incoming. What difference does it make?

It was. We had to beat teams we were suooosed to if 2026 was gonna be a redemption year. 3-0, even w a loss to Bama, and a Kentucky win for 4-1 gives us momentum and a hopefully nice 8-4 or better season.

Nope. We lost to MSU, momentum collapsed which showed at Bama. Now we are in a free fall and UK is irrelevant. Win or lose 2026 is a wash

If we beat UK, then OU, A&M and Arkansas all look bad. Throw in a weak clemson team, and a UK win could start talk of bowl eligibility.

No game outside of the cupcakes are a sure win, but UK is a definite possible win. UK has beaten Youngstown State, an A&M team that has been shown to be awful and South Alabama. They had a pulse against Bama, but Bama stomped them ultimately. In fact, they lost to Bama almost as bad as we did, so our two teams are pretty evenly matched based on that.
