You should see how many Huskers are in the Iowa Board!

I don't know much about Nebraska other than Omaha and having to go to Lincoln. I just know that most Americans avoid the horror known as middle and western Nebraska.

I can't imagine what those toothless yokels are up to and I don't want to.
Probably like "Deliverance" except without the swamp water.

True fact - Nebraska has the largest indoor clown museum.
Did you miss waving practice with your nincompoop girlfriend. You pee birds can’t even tell the difference between gold and yellow.

I joined this board less than a year ago. I genuinely couldn't understand why Husker fans cared about Iowa on this board. I have been a Nebraska fan for over 50 years and never in my life did I care about Iowa football. Oklahoma? Yes. Colorado? Yes. Miami and FSU? Yes. Iowa? No. For me, playing Iowa has never been different than playing Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa State or Minnesota.

Iowa is a boring team. Growing up I would see them on the 10am game and take a morning nap watching them or flip the channel. They never won anything significant. Still haven't. So why all the talk about Iowa on this board?

After spending a few months, I realized why. It's because their fans are cockroaches who flood our board and won't leave us alone. Ahhh, makes sense. It's not the Iowa team our fans care about - it's the moronic fans who are obsessed with us and won't leave. These Iowa dorks think they're trolls - but they aren't.

TROLL: Someone who comes on the board to talk trash and be inflammatory. I am part of other teams boards and it is common to show up during rivalry week, game week, etc. to begin the trolling. The rest of the year? Pretty quiet. Do we have Minnesota fans over here? They've had our number on the field. Nope. Minnesota fans aren't obsessed and they don't care about Nebraska anymore than we care about them. You know why? Minnesota has their own championship history.

OBSESSION: This is Iowa. They are not trolling us - they are obsessed with us. Beating Michigan isn't enough for them. They need to come over to Big Brother's board and tell us how great they are. They won't sleep until they know WE know little brother did us proud. "Look at me, Look at me!!" They cry out for recognition. They need our affirmation. They dream about it. They won't stop until they get it. A troll would head over to Michigans board that night. Nope. Iowa dorks head to the Nebraska board.

Frankly, it's weird. They are weird. Never in a million years would I venture to an Iowa board. If their football team is boring I can only imagine what their board is like. And to think of me going to Iowa's board after we beat another team? "Hey Pete - we just beat Michigan State - what do you want to do - go over to Iowa's board and rub it in?" LOL! This is what these Iowa inbreeds do!

That is just creepy. And I don't mean fan-type creepy. It's just....... weird.

Iowa has Nebraska's number in the last decade. Great - good for you. Show up Thanksgiving week and talk smack. Bring it loud and bring it THICK. That's what teams and their fans do. But this mid-season obsession? And after you beat another team like Michigan?? And a bunch of these Iowa dorks are here during the OFFSEASON as well.

They have to tell us how many 7+ win seasons they've had - because they are proud of mediocrity and no titles, but more importantly they want us to be proud of them. They need big brother to tell them they matter.

Guess what. Iowa doesn't matter. You never have and no matter how obsessed you dorks are with our program, our success and all the trophies in our cabinet - you will never be a blue blood.

They know it and it drives them insane. They actually lose their cookies over this fact. So they run over to our board to tell us our titles are old. It is literally the same argument EVERY single time. Ali won titles in the 70's. "Doesn't matter! It's old!" says the guy who has no championships.

It's funny to see them on here at all hours of the day. That ain't trolling boys. That's a mental illness. An obsession. And it's creepy.

Nobody in Iowa cared about Husker football.
Then they joined the B1G and announced they'd be playing for conference championships EVERY OTHER YEAR... Then came the "FROST WARNINGS"...........etc etc.....then came a flood of Husker fans on the Iowa board inexplicably calling Iowa "mediocre" and not worthy to be in a conference with Nebraska.

Then we kicked your asses for a decade.

Ferentz has coach for clarkeyes for 28 years and has 12 seasons at year’s end being ranked and only 4 top 10 finishes and has the most losses with wins in B1G history.

Our worst AD (Eichorst) was the one labeled your program mediocre.
and being ranked only 12 times in 28 years what would you call it.

How bad do you guys get shredded by Indiana when you play them?

Cignetti vs Rhule.

Seems like a huge disparity.

Taking Indiana by 28
I could see that.

It will be something like 42-17.

And, thank you again for admitting that everything I said about the fake injuries was in fact correct. I appreciate that.

Also, take iowa on the money line this weekend. Easy cash homie.

You are mediocre though. So are most of the teams in the conference.

Over the past 10 years, the Iowa Hawkeyes rank among the top tier of the Big Ten Conference in total wins, establishing themselves as a consistent and elite defensive program just behind conference powerhouses like Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State.
Big Ten 10-Year Overall Wins (2016–2026)
Rank Team Approximate 10-Year Wins
1 Ohio State 114–116
2 Wisconsin 77–92
3 Michigan 87–96
4 Iowa 87
5 Penn State 85–95
6 Michigan State 58–81
7 Minnesota 75
Program Comparison Highlights
• Consistency: Iowa is one of the few FBS programs to secure at least 8 wins in every full season over the last decade, showcasing rare year-over-year stability under head coach Kirk Ferentz.
• The Blueprint: While elite conference foes like Ohio State and Oregon lead via high-powered offensive metrics, Iowa consistently achieves its standing through elite, historically stingy defense and special teams performance, counterbalanced by well-documented offensive struggles.
• Ceiling: The Hawkeyes captured Big Ten West division titles and made appearances in the Big Ten Championship Game, though breaking through the ultimate tier of Ohio State and Michigan remains a hurdle shared by most of the conference.

Over the past 10 years, Nebraska football has experienced a significant decline compared to its historical standard, holding a sub-.500 overall record that places the program in the bottom tier of the Big Ten Conference relative to traditional conference heavyweights.
Performance Overview
• Nebraska's 10-Year Record: Roughly 51–68 (.429 win percentage) across the span.
• Tier Comparison: While elite Big Ten programs like Ohio State and Michigan average 9 to 11 wins annually and contend for national titles, Nebraska has struggled through multiple coaching changes (Mike Riley, Scott Frost, and Matt Rhule) and frequent bowl droughts.
• Conference Standing: Nebraska's record in conference play puts them closer to mid-to-lower tier B1G programs like Purdue, Illinois, and Minnesota rather than the divisional or conference frontrunners like Penn State and Wisconsin.
Head-to-Head Context
• Against Elite B1G: Nebraska holds a combined 1–15 record against Ohio State, Penn State, and Michigan since 2016.
• Rivalries: The Huskers have also struggled heavily against regional rivals, going 1–9 against Iowa and 1–8 against Wisconsin over extended multi-year stretches.

Way to cherry pick the worse 10 year period since the Bill Jennings era.

We know exactly were we’ve been since Eichorst fired Pelini.

Yet what have the clarkeyes won in the past 10 years since?

.500 in Bowl games.
