Every conference team on PSU'S schedule will have 3 losses and If PSU beats them at least 4. This opportunity will never come again. 2027 and 28 schedule is n actual Big 10 schedule and recruiting isn't improving. How long will PSU wait for results better than under Franklin?

Precisely. Winning is hard. Something a large segment of regulars here refused to acknowledge for years.
I believe many victories, sometimes 10 per season or more were dismissed by the vaunted BWICAC as "teams without a pulse."

It was also an excellent strategy to fire your coach asap and go on a magical mystery tour search for 50+ days while your recruiting class evaporated and your only prospect was a devout Mormon who coached at BYU. What could go wrong? Now we really need to "coach em up."

If I could sum up what I am seeing, James just yakked up another game that he should have won against Pitt, in the most BGJ fashion possible. Good riddance to that clown.

Campbell may or may not be the right guy for Penn State, but he was hired very late in the cycle. So he wasn't able to sign high school recruits for the most part, and he lost a lot of Penn State players who were poached by James. So I'm willing to cut Campbell a lot more slack than many on this board. I think Campbell will right the ship here sooner than many think.

As for Pat Kraft, I have been out on him since his leaked speech to the players after James was fired. The job seems way too big for Kraft.
