Last week Illinois was also able to get to the red zone fairly often, but OSU's defense bent and never broke. Hawks need to get a little tricky here.
That first 1st down of the drive was huge. Needed that to get the rhythm going.
I'm probably crazy and stupid, but if its anything from 5 or less yards to go after 3 downs, this is 4 down territory.

It’s like some people live in an alternate reality. The same Iowa fans who got upset I criticized the Iowa offense for a lackluster performance against a mediocre Iowa State defense are upset that Tim Lester isn’t running the football every play today.
Too long developing routes for a 3rd and 10 against this defense. Either have to have something quick and get yards to force a 4th down decision, or design to get Hank out of the pocket.

Brown does not look good. Seems overwhelmed and jittery. Lester's play calling suspect as well. The bright spot have been our TEs. They've been getting the most positive plays so far.
One of those plays, the OSU DL counterpart had him pushed back 5 yards before Brown had taken 3 steps on his drop back.
Is this an act, or does your doctor need to increase your dosage of Zoloft?
