So much for UT being winnable

[18IsTheMan]

Oh well, it’s not a game we desperately needed anyway.

[I4CtheFuture]

Too soon for that. I got 2 scenarios that work in our favor.

1) UT spends all their emotions and energy to beat Bama, and they'll be flat next weekend.
2) UT loses and are deflated for next weeks game.

[KingWard]

Bama is having as bad a half as I've seen in a long time.

[Forkcock]

But Florida beat Texas.

[Uscg1984]

UT is winnable.

[Go Gamecocks]

We beat UF, who beat UTex, who beat UTen.....

[18IsTheMan]

UT is winnable.

Have held Bama to under 100 yds in 1st half

[Johnnysurf]

I disagree.
We can kick their ***

[TheRoo]

We would like UT to win. If they do, let's still play the game just in case.

[sclawman77]

But Florida beat Texas.

They found a qb. But we'll still take the win. UF's d-line looked solid today so that shows what our o-line is capable of.

[Sleepyhead]

If anything I think it just shows how week to week this league is right now. I don’t think I can remember it ever being quite like this.

[RL09]

UT is winnable.

I agree, with our OL playing very well, we can stay on the field with the Vols. Sellers needs play a clean game and our secondary needs to continue to play well

[Bubba Fett]

To have a chance meathead must have zero turnovers.

[Uscg1984]

Good thing we aren't playing them this week, huh? Or perhaps we should have played Bama this week.

I think our chances of beating them improve if they win this week. I would actually prefer they win in about 8 OTs, but I'll take any win that feels like a huge emotional victory for them.

[SouthernBelly]

College football is more nuts than usual this season, the SEC especially. What happens in one week is presently less indicative of what will happen in the next week than it possibly ever has been. Nothing that happens for SC vs TN next week is a surprise, just how it is this year.

[SuperCock99]

It’s winnable unless everyone has the same attitude and expectations as the OP . I don’t care if TN won the Super Bowl, we should beat them….. Plus Beamer’s job kind of depends on it. The guy should be week to week at this point with this horrible record.

[PrestonyteParrot]

UT spent all their energy and emotion on Bama to set us up for the win at WB.

[92Pony]

UT spent all their energy and emotion on Bama to set us up for the win at WB.

We gotta hope that’s the case. If that same UT squad shows up, they’ll beat out heads in, 38-13. They DOMINATED Bama.

I don't think we got their best game last week. Or maybe we did,and I am just suffering from Gamecock PTSD.

[Legal_fowl]

If only we had stopped that 2 pt conversion.

[Deathstar]

Beamer had two weeks to prepare, our guys got some rest, UT should be exhausted from the Bama game. There is no excuse for not winning this game at home, if Beamer is going to keep his promise of a playoff berth this year this is a must-win game. No excuses, just win!

[18IsTheMan]

Their D is going to be problematic
