I think Howie has to blow it up now. Hurts is likely out for 5-6 games. 2-8 when he’s first eligible to return feels possible with the way the offense looks.

They aren’t coming back from that this year. May as well ship a few veterans with value for draft picks. His 2028 draft pick strategy is smart too.

Use the next two seasons to clear a ton of dead cap money. Then load up on young picks who can contribute starting 2029 and 2030.

They’re getting old and play will inevitably head in the wrong direction. We saw this movie in 2019 and 2020.

this is my absolute go-to eagles podcast. very even-keeled and unemotional, unlike some other ones out there.

The annual “Fire Nick Sirianni” chants may have more bite this year. You learn a lot about a coach and staff when things don’t go well.

Nick and this staff look like they have zero ideas or answers. Things get worse by the week.

There are an ungodly number of injuries on offense, but the staff doesn’t seem to be doing anything schematically to help them compete.

this has to be said, i hope not behind the pay wall, but Howie shares much of this blame.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts, who is out for the season after several blood clots were revealed in his lungs. Before the London game, Hurts was in the hospital until 4 am and did not sleep because sleep was a risk. He played the game without having slept. Crazy.
