Sayin at OSU maybe out for the season? What if the unthinkable happens?

NU wins out as does OSU and Indiana
(or assume all three drop one more game and UCLA is not a factor)

Who would go to Big Ten champ game if OSU IU and NU only had one loss among them each to the other team H2H. Would it go to ranking or something else

Assuming no other losses, the Bog Ten uses ranking by SportSource Analytical, who provides the team ratings to the CFP committee.

However you missed the fact that UCLA could finish undefeated at the same time so we all may be fighting for second place.

Getting WAY ahead of myself, but not my hypothetical.

I wonder if we win out, would we already be in the Top 12 and hope to not play in the B1G Championship game? That should put us as a top 3-4 B1G team with a narrow loss to Indiana, which should get us in the CFP. Playing in the championship game could put that at risk.

If we finish 11-1 we are a CFP lock, even if we then lose the conference title game.

I do not expect this to happen.

Best case scenario is to go 10-2 in the BIG and not qualify for the BIG Championship came. IMO, we would still qualify for the playoffs.

As long as the 2nd loss is to OSU and is competitive. I could see UCLA running the table, so there might be a logjam at the top.

We will most likely lose 2 more games with the more difficult part of the schedule ahead of us. Even without Sayin, the Buckeyes are still loaded all around. Oregon will be tough and it is a West Coast game as well. Iowa will be one tough contest!!!. 3-4 losses is the most likely outcome in my opinion. The MSU game was a gutsy win, but the Spartans aren't a top tier team in the B1G.

We're probably going to be underdogs against Oregon.

Oregon/Iowa are the real tests of the season more than Ohio State.
