I had a chance to discuss a bit with the host - Tor Michaels

Anyone fact check the assertion that the varsity teams have regressed vs. big ten competition since Krafty arrived? Same on the academics side and being 18th!

I do not know how you pay people to go away. 12 millions supposedly is what he would get if we part ways. I do not think that happens at the current juncture but who knows.

He should be fired because he botched the single most important part of his job which is ensuring the success of PSU football. The whole process was a debacle and everyone convinced themselves Campbell was a win, and he isn’t. Add that to all the other sports sucking and he needs to go.

Campbell was one of my first choices when Franklin was fired, so I didn't need to be convinced. And it's certainly too soon to see how it will work out.

Might be right, but think there is a reason he stayed in Ames for so long. Not one alum I know feels we are better off with Campbell. No fire.

Also, his game day decision making and lack of impact on the recruiting trail leave a lot to be desired. Was reported the new ISU coach didn’t want to pay three D players what they were making so they agreed to go with Campbell (and are sadly playe for PSU now) because he would take care of them. Not good.

Franklin had fire? What?
He had countless other chances to leave and chose to stay
I agree about recruiting and decision making but it's a small sample size and no worse than Franklin.
Who reported that? Come with names.
Campbell may fail miserably but "no fire" is just laughable. We don't need a cheerleader.

Campbell recruited well enough at ISU that there were 19 of his players on NFL rosters this season. If he did that at ISU, he should be able to do even better at PSU if he has the resources. Now i’m waiting for somebody to say that ISU has more NIL than PSU (doesn’t everybody according to some people) because that’s now the easy reply to all of PSU’s problems.

He doesn't need another role at that level--but you give people too much credit. Someone may be dumb enough to hire him.
Utah State let Sany Barbour run things for a few months while they conducted their search

I see absolutely no reason to fire Kraft unless the people who hired him are fired first.

Otherwise, you are going to get yet another underperforming AD, who is going to hire underperforming coaches. And the people behind the madness remain in their positions ad infinitum.

If it means that Penn State descends into Rutgres-ness and hits rock bottom, so be it. Tear it all down and start with a fresh canvas.

Not a Franklin apologist and I wanted him fired years ago but he excited recruits. I’ll share the link soon.

So that's the claim made by an Iowa State beat writer and we're supposed to believe it?
I'm so confused why so many people take things said in the media as gospel--next someone will tell me Grunk wanted to stay and Beau couldn't wait until after the playoff to transfer
This isn't criticizing you--just the overall belief here that everything that is said is real--there's always an agenda.

Why would anyone take the time to dispute a throwaway statement being used to hype up Iowa State's program?
This is where Penn State fans don't make any sense to me. Most other fan bases would simply laugh at the comment because they understand the absurdity of it but our fan base has some illogical hatred of adding guys from the Big XII so they want it to be true because they believe it justifies their rage.

This shouldn't surprise anyone - this empty-suit clown, or should I say Dr. Clown, is an embarrassment. Turned PSU into a laughingstock with his horrendous mismanagement and arrogant, wreckless decision-making.

Really??? He brought all his best ISU recruits turned players with him and is paying them hansomely - they have all turned out to be overpaid duds.

You're such a bloviating putz - based on the fact that 100% of the highly-paid ISU Free Agent transfers suck, especially relative to the $$$ their being paid, I'd say the writer has a ton of credibility.
