Basch has Levi’s big match up vs Khaniev in about 20min now. It had previously been 7:30, and I got excited about the sleep window.
He beat Sidakov to make the team
Basch site has RBY, Spencer, Levi back to back to back on B after the match going on now
I believe the quarterfinals get the fanfare. They won’t start until the round of 16 is completely finished and then they wrestle one weight at a time. Shouldn’t be a conflict
Yeah, I'm not expecting us to get anything at that weight.
I’ve seen just one match, but something tells me Sheriev isn’t losing to baby Yaz
Levi and Spencer with huge team race implications this round. Gotta think we need both with the James Green result.
We need to beat Russia at 57 if not the guy who beats him (he's up now) and Levi needs to beat Khaniev in the 1/4 in 10 minutes
Levi!!! He’s such a beast. Khaniev met him in the handfight, but got absolutely bullied in scrambles.
That was an absolutely incredible match by Levi! Khaniev is legit. Levi's defense and hips are just insane. That was so damn impressive!
Hell yeah! I was worried after Khaniev took ground so easily early but Levi just dominated the scoring situations.
Phenomenal defense from Levi. Dead to rights at least twice, and he puts the points on the board.
I think that was the best match so far for Levi on the Senior circuit. He is really elevating his wrestling.
Levi always brings his hips to the party.
Good job, Trent. That one worried me for a moment, but, he did what he had to do.
Trent is a much smarter wrestler than people give him credit for.
Getting that push out from grounded was a master class.

I just finished watching all the semis and medal matches and I am sure my deciding to get a good night's rest was the deciding factor in that dominant U.S.A. and Mexico performance! It is such a pleasure to be able to watch the U.S. wrestlers nowadays.

Been kinda nice to be able to read through this and see what all happened while I'm waiting for sunrise in the archery blind. Y'all are crazy for being up consistently all week to watch these, but thank you to everyone commenting and providing updates and context.
