The Cats have a darn good team and Iowa will be playing in their new stadium. I think they are the biggest obstacle to 10-2.
But for now, let's party.

Agree… it’s going to take an effort like today to bounce them but I still think Iowa wins if they play like they did today and that’s a big IF… will see though… but they are no joke that’s for sure … great post RC…The Cats have a darn good team and Iowa will be playing in their new stadium. It all depends on which Iowa team shows up.The Cats have a darn good team and Iowa will be playing in their new stadium. I think they are the biggest obstacle to 10-2.

We did a nice job on the Badger QB today, and he was leading the B1G in QB rushing yards and 4 rush TD's...One of the keys is containing Chiles. He has 9 rushing TDs so far this season. Nothing more frustrating than a dangerous QB picking up first downs with his legs on third down.

Chip Kelly has revved up their offense with playcalling and the players have responded. jNW scored late against Indy to make it a game but Indy is the only really strong defense they played against. If Iowa is tackling well our defense can hold them down. Need to hit QB Chiles early, often, and hard. The Cats have a darn good team and Iowa will be playing in their new stadium. Today we faced a one dimensional offense. Northwestern can run and pass and it's on the road. Should be a much stiffer test. One of the keys is containing Chiles. He has 9 rushing TDs so far this season. Nothing more frustrating than a dangerous QB picking up first downs with his legs on third down.

Agreed, but without looking I'd say Bucky has a tougher D....Today we faced a one dimensional offense. Northwestern can run and pass and it's on the road. Should be a much stiffer test.
You may be right but I see the offensive gap between the 2 much larger than the defensive gap and this time on the road. We will see.Agreed, but with out looking I'd say Bucky has a tougher D....
Statistics support that too. I think when I checked earlier today NW was giving up 150 rushing a game at over 4 a carry. Their scoring D has been great. Granted they haven’t had a particularly tough schedule.Agreed, but with out looking I'd say Bucky has a tougher D....
Small but looks really goodLooking forward to seeing that new stadium in person.
I wouldn't spend a penny in that over taxed state. We refuse to go to Chicago anymore. Hotel taxes and fees are stupid crazy, gas prices at least fifty cents higher than bordering states, and not the safest place to visit either. I know the North side is different but still won't go.Looking forward to seeing that new stadium in person.
Do you know how silly this sounds to a guy that was just forced to pay $1,200 for a 2 night stay at a Hyatt Place in Iowa City?I wouldn't spend a penny in that over taxed state. Enjoy the game and Go Hawks!
I think this one comes down to the quality of the in-game coaching. The Cats have a darn good team and Iowa will be playing intheirour new stadium. I think they are the biggest obstacle to 10-2.

Did u at least get a hot breakfast and/or turndown?Do you know how silly this sounds to a guy that was just forced to pay $1,200 for a 2 night stay at a Hyatt Place in Iowa City?
Definitely have to stop or really hold down their run game and then be ready for Kelly's crazy pass gameToday we faced a one dimensional offense. Northwestern can run and pass and it's on the road. Should be a much stiffer test.
Brown might have a good game - they give up 349 yds per game which is #15 in the BT. (not sure if this includes 441 yds to Oregon today either). After today's win I am feeling pretty confident...Statistics support that too. I think when I checked earlier today NW was giving up 150 rushing a game at over 4 a carry. For $1,200 I should've gotten a hot breakfast and a happy ending massage.Did u at least get a hot breakfast and/or turndown?
Stay locked in. I think we can move the ball against them. Just gotta convert those yards into touchdowns. And then contain Chiles. problem is chiles can also throw very well and nw has lunchpail gritty receivers who can catchOur defense is quick, Buffington ran down Joseph who is faster than chiles
Yea obviously their offense is better than Wisconsin, their defense isn’t however, giving up 364 yards per game. They are very beatable.problem is chiles can also throw very well and nw has lunchpail gritty receivers who can catch
hope the offense produces but it’s very rare when iowa wins via offense in a game in which the defense gets exploited. in the lester era vanderbilt bowl game is the only instance that comes to mind.Yea obviously their offense is better than Wisconsin, their defense isn’t however, giving up 364 yards per game. Phil,is pretty good at not getting exploitedhope the offense produces but it’s very rare when iowa wins via offense in a game in which the defense gets exploited. in the lester era vanderbilt bowl game is the only instance that comes to mind.
I was going to ask if you got a "HE" but thought that might be out of bounds, lolol..For $1,200 I should've gotten a hot breakfast and a happy ending massage.
