Man there's a lot of bad individual football plays on that play. One Michigan lineman just falls down for no reason and another one tackles a guy but no flag
I get it but, like, we have so many other kids in the LB room. We can't do any better than this? Kid is just not quick, agile or big enough to be playing. And if the other kids in the team that ARE, can't play because they have poor football IQ, then it's on the coaching staff.

Agree. Coaches are supposed to recruit and develop their players and put the best players in a position to win. But when the head coach misses the portal window because nobody wanted to work for him, this is what happens. It all points back to the same person.

Half-correct. Definitely a hold that should have been called and the TD nullified but he wouldn’t have had a chance to make the play had he not been held. QB already rolling right, past him and too fast/shifty.

And as far as getting f’ed. The game stats show RU was dominated in every way except on the scoreboard. The refs are not why RU lost. Not at all.

It’s really not the kids fault. He was recruited and paid to come to RU by people who obviously don’t what they are evaluating.

It harkens back to Beckford RUNNING to blockers and getting himself tied up and not getting corrected when he was tried at lb. Once he was put at rush end all wa sbetter. 41 belongs on special teams.

Kid is simply not a Big 10 linebacker. By now that is crystal clear. Give someone else, anyone else, the opportunity to show what they've got.
I was 100% against calling out kids directly in the old days- but I hate NIL and the portal as both are used right now- so- f-it, if you suck, you don't deserve to be protected anymore.

Amazing that that might have been the only play that the right tackle #77 did not hold, all game he would wrap up the defender & plenty of times tackled defender to the ground, never got called for it, so I guess the right guard decided he could also tackle without fear of penalty.
