I am reposting my list from a few weeks back.....

1. Norvell, F$U.
2. Locksley, Maryland. 10/21
3. Schiano, Rutgers.
4. Beamer, South Carolina.
5. Fickell, Wisconsin
6. Rhule, Nebraska
7. Riley, U$C
8. Prime, Colorado
10. Leipold, Kansas
11. Satterfield, Cincy
12. Swinney, Clemson
13. O'Brien, Boston College
14. Brown, Syracuse
15. Belicheck, UNC
That's a solid list, O'Brien is toast I think. Beamer saved his job with a home win vs TN and road win at Oklahoma. I agree with Fickle too, he might be done.

I could be wrong but
Fickell beating us and USC saves him IMO
I still think BC is happy with O'Brien--that's not a job that people want.
Agree with Beamer for sure

He won't be
BGJ doesn't want that kind of pressure
Programs like FSU don't want a guy that can't win a title.
Kenny Dillingham (ASU) is likely their first call. Manny Diaz, Jeff Brohm, Eli Drinkwitz, Mike Elko, Rhett Lashlee, Glenn Schumann (who I would have loved to hire) and Charles Huff all would be names I'd expect before James
James is happy where he is--there's no real pressure. He lost to Pitt and Cal without real criticism.
Strongly disagree. The man has a big ego. He has warts, but he wins a lot of games and is driven to succeed. When a bigger job comes knocking, and it certainly will, and he will bolt. I do think there will be genuine interest from FSU and I do think he could do well there.

I don't believe for a second FSU will have interest or that he has interest
Time will tell--you may be correct--and it depends on how many people say no. I just think their first choice will jump.

Clown, it's his first year at VT. He's already doubled their win total from last year and they're bowl eligible.

Can we give them Campbell and go after Chesney? UCLA now ranked #5
I think most of us wanted and would have preferred Chesney. But I also believe most of us aren’t ready to throw the baby out with the bath water before we have even reached the end of year 1.

My personal hope is that CMC does not have anywhere near the hubris of our previous coach, and is willing to make the necessary changes. If we continue to see strong loyalty to the Iowa State coaching staff and players heading into year two, then I do think it is time to panic and start hoping for an AD and coach change after year 2.

Virginia Tech certainly does after not being eligible. So Penn State to play in the Myrtle Beach bowl maybe? Oooh. Ahhh. Oooh. Ahhh. Put that at the top of Campbell's coaching resume.

No they don't. No one cares about bowl eligibility. Va Tech fans are simply hoping Franklin has them headed in the right direction but they're unhappy with two bad losses. Their SOS is horrific.

I still don't understand why Franklin fans continue to compare him to MC. MC is in year 1...I doubt he's here as long as Franklin but he's probably going to have the same or a better record than the 2025 team.

MC has nothing to do with Franklin. Franklin has nothing to do with MC. This is about is FSU dumb enough to hire him.

We missed on Chesney. We don't get a do over.

Kraft missed on him, yes. He could still come back home. But that is unlikely to happen with Kraft here. There’s a hot new coach every year so if CMC doesn’t pan out and Chesney isn’t interested, someone else will be. But Kraft the Clown has got to go.

Ryan Day last ten games, 6-4. PSU last ten games , 6-4.
It’s amazing how important the QB is. If Becht is even average, we’re likely sitting at 6-2 at least right now without any other changes to the team. The OSU boards are pretty interesting now. They’re frothing mad, particularly since they spent so much money on the roster.

The football savant level on this board is quite amusing. Looks like Riley didn't lose to duhO$U, did he? If Day loses to Oregon this Saturday, he'll have blown the highest paid roster in Professional CFB for the second year in a row and be 7-5 in his last 12 games, out of even the Playoffs this year, etc.... according to all you football geniuses in your own minds know-it-alls, it sure does sound like firing material.
