The life of a practice squad player can be pretty tough. The Birds cut Castro-Fields (and Harris) last week, and resigned both this week. (I can't remember if Garner was also cut last week.)

I was hoping that Mailata got a selection this year. Jalen Carter (how could he not make it), Zack Baun (what a signing he's been), and Cam Jurgens (a bit of a surprise) were the Birds selected to their 1st Pro Bowl.

He catches a lot of schtick for a guy with that kind of a record. Let’s see him win a title to shut people up.

Howie has done such a great job with the roster that it fuels the narrative that Nick hasn’t done as much as a coach. Time to change that.
