This might be the all-time most despicable, insensitive, loathsome, moronic, vile response to a tragedy in my memory. For some unknown reason Brandt is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Well, I guess it's good to hear the circumstances were what I, and probably many others, thought. Running out of gas and making a poor judgment to walk off the freeway. Very unfortunate and sad, but better than someone with a deathwish or high on drugs.

I've driven that very stretch of roadway many times and it's one of the most intense, wide, and dangerous areas in which I've ever been.
