Sunsets on the Delta are underrated. The western sky reminds me of sunsets at the beach.
Best sunset I've ever seen anywhere was at the Greenwood Country Club going toward Itta Bena many years ago. I was playing a round of golf by myself after I got off work. It was mid-August and the sun was as big as a basketball just sitting on the horizon before it started going down. Don't think I've ever seen one that big before. I think the very flat land had a lot to do with it.

Pretty good ones out on the water. That can be the beach or the Rez, but those always seem like the best ones to me.
Sadly, no. If anything, a strong high pressure is going to settle in effectively killing all rain chances for a while. It goes by the nickname death ridge. Just turns everything hot and dry. The longer it stays locked in place the harder it can sometimes be for storm systems to break it down and move through.
