Yeah, my one experience with driving a high level Kart for a few laps was exhausting.

About a third of the way into this race they said the drivers were probably down 5 lbs in water weight already.

The street races are cool, but they are not comparable to Indy. Every American male owes it to themself to experience Indy - that race is just as much about Memorial Day as it is the race itself. I am not sure if people realize the abundance of patriotism on that day but they will make you proud as hell to be as American. I would rather go to Indy than any other sport event, no question.

A few laps after their long commercial about their fine university, the A&M car fish-tailed coming out of a curve, and their driver, Rosenqvist, is out of contention.

Been 3 times. Its kinda like the Masters in that words or pics just don’t do it justice to the actual experience.

Glad that the guy who seemed like he was racing the best all day pulled away and won after that last yellow tightened it up again.

I don’t watch a lot of this stuff, but that was fun. The tech in those cars is incredible. I watched the 60’s film Grand Prix recently. Cars and safety have come a very long way.

I tried watching but had to turn it off since the announcers were so damn annoying. Don't worry though, I switched it over to the New Hampshire NASCAR race to watch a bunch of people who's names I no longer recognize.
