Projected to start for us even though he was a backup at UNC. Speeding 101 in a 65 zone. Good news is no drugs or weapons or outstanding warrants (wow!), so I expect not much from this.

Early 40s. Just wanted to get the car up to that speed so picked a safe spot between Louisville & Starkville & got there then back down to low 70s. Nothing dramatic.
I’ve discovered the older I get, the more responsible driver I am. The younger I was the worse. At 16 it took intervention from above for me to still be alive.

i had a 79 transam in high school. Of course we had to go to some country blacktop roads and top it out. I wouldn’t do that today.

He’ll probably be suspended for the first game which will suck if he is supposed to be the starter. He’ll need those reps so his first game will be Mn.

id have to say 70s Olds Cutlass and Pontiac Grand Prix were probably more popular than trans ams and Camaros back then.

115 , before I 20 fully opened. I saw what the old Chevy would sort of do, and then shut her down,
I guess there was no speed limit,.... If the engine blew I would have been walking for some time to come.
Never seen much need to drive over 75 or so. Generally.

I see fools going 95 to 100 on I220 every day. If you are not doing at least 80 you will get run over. They repaved the road so at least now you don't see guys getting airborne anymore.

I know it's hard to believe but back in the day, 18 year olds could buy alcohol and everybody was drinking and driving and smoking cigarettes and having sex

Yeah, this is why insurance rates are so high for teens- people are statistically dummies during those years.

Your process of being more responsible as you have aged mirrors most adults.

I was doing 117mph on I-10 from Mobile to PCB, had no idea until my daughter saw it on Life 360 and called me to tell me to slow down. I had no idea.

18? Hold my beer please, MS drivers license age 15, buying beer and Menthol Vantage cigarettes at multiple places at 16. I wasn't one to kiss and tell but her name was Teresa and she loved to mix body fluids at a young age
