This is the skinny version interlocking I like. Keep it for football forever.
This is Mississippi State football to me. Absolutely love it.
My bad. Someone retweeted it. I didn’t even pay attention to the date.
“Miss. State” needs to go away forever. The MSJ is fine, but we should never put “Miss. State” on anything ever again.
As of yesterday morning there was no markings on the field. They were working on the turf, but no paint yet.
I prefer ‘Bulldog Blitz’ script on the field. And then play the song as the team runs out on the field. 
Okay, boomer.
With that being said, I bet they go State script at mid field.

We didn't even win anything of consequence during that era. We don't have like that crowning 'achievement'. Yeah we made it to Atlanta......in the old system and that game is no longer even relevant. We won a Peach Bowl, whooptydoo. Banner M-State one-upped all that with the bowl streak and #1.
I'm not advocating for either for the helmet - it should be the block MSJ - which is when our football program was modernized. And it just looks the best. Especially when we don't have many program defining moments.
Agree with others about Miss State, should be gone, not because it's terrible, but it is good to lean into 'State', when done the right way. Banner M-State should be at midfield, the 'Mississippi State' should be in the end zones the way it has been since 2009. &tate should be on merch.
It's really this simple.

We won 10 games in 1999 and were 19 points away from an undefeated season. That's one of the best teams we've ever had.
I know. But it p*sses me off when people overlook that 1999 team. Only 2014 was better in my lifetime.

So why isn't everyone spazzing over the 2014 uniforms?
The 45-55 year old man anger is real with the skinny interlocking and thinking that was the glory days. It was great, but it was largely undone. Especially when their hero is a dyed in the wool Texas A&M homer.
Nothing, but that's not the "tradition" we should be leaning into. "Miss. State" made us the laughingstock of the SEC.
I consider it important. This certain group is literally dead set on tearing a lot of good things down, at every outset. And worse, they don't even realize they are doing it. You would think our track record of football shlttiness would convince a few of them that their general way of doing things does not work.
So, I just read the thread and found out its an old tweet, so my question was very stupid.

Because 2014 uniform (not helmets) is a very close replica of late 90's jerseys. Only difference is Miss State vs the banner "Mississippi State".
Perfect world - this is it and remove Miss. State and make it STATE.
Don't project your weak-***, feeble insecurities on the rest of us.
I don't know...being ranked #1 for a few weeks was awesome, but in the end 10-2 with an Egg Bowl win beats 10-3 with a loss.
