I’ve seen people mention that this guy hasn’t really made himself known. He hasn’t been seen a whole lot around Lexington or you know didn’t get involved with the Mitchell saga really hasn’t got involved in anything. It just has me wondering since this guy is a UNC alumn he was a grad assistant at UNC. I mean, I just have to wonder is this guy potentially in line for the athletic Director opening at UNC? I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised I mean house was never cleaned in Lexington. Eli is about the worst thing to happen to the university of Kentucky between him and Barney. They both worked together to undermine the state and even tried to defraud the state so I don’t trust Eli as far as I can throw him. I don’t hear anything out of UK sports information director. Nothing from Batt and there’s a big juicy opening at his home school which happens to be one of our biggest rivals. I mean, that’s just like to me that’s the tone deafness or the absolute corruption of Eli caliputo. I haven’t heard anything the indicate he would be you know potential for UNC but there’s no doubt in my mind if you have an alumni out there who’s been in one of the top two conferences and now in the Top conference, I don’t know. I’m just putting all the pieces together. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up over unc the end of all of this.

He’s an industry plant. He was added to the group by the label because of his looks. Then, he passed tragically and unexpectedly in a car accident so the Beatles replaced him with a fake Paul who they taught to sing and play bass just like the original Paul. Then the Beatles kept hinting to their fans about the replacement in all their subsequent albums.
^ There are people who believe silliness like this. I still think a fake Paul McCartney is more likely than J Batt sitting in silence because he was brought here to be the next Tar Heel AD.

I heard he's working behind the scenes setting up a meeting to discuss strategies for the athletic department with Goingfor9.
However, word on the street is J Batt been unable to reach him because he's been too busy on RR complaining to take his calls.
There doesn’t have to be a big conspiracy to explain J Batt being a flop, at least so far.
Normal things like being over his head and not an alpha male and not a “refuse to lose” guy would explain him not being able to bring Koehler from Michigan State, not figuring out the Mitchell thing in time to prevent a fiasco and just generally being MIA in a critical moment for the basketball team.
Some guys just want the title and the big check and think as long as they are sucking up to boosters and the media they are doing their job. Like Mitch.

Oh my goodness. Give it a rest. Even ADs have vacation time. Moving his family from East Lansing is another time consuming task.

-There’s the kind of man who, given leadership over the greatest college basketball program of all time, would have moved into his office the next morning, called in the head coach, and said “here’s what I think the team needs to be a FF contender immediately. Let’s work together 12 hours a day until we get there.” That guy works his sources, knows Jaxon Koehler, who he has a recent personal relationship with from his last job,will be available, and he doesn’t rest until he locks him up.
-Then there’s the guy who gets the job, takes a while making sure his family gets all moved in, spends some time on leisurely meetings with the volley ball and track coaches, talks to a few boosters, then goes on vacation.
I hoped we’d gotten the first guy. I’m afraid we got the second guy.

That is really a pathetic take and all you have to do is look at who liked your post to understand how pathetic that was. Pretty much the entire world honestly believe Jaxon was going to be white. As far as Mitchell goes, we did everything we could to get them, but the A.D. can't control the legal system and the kid had a ride to make sure he was gonna be able to play basketball this year. The only thing he could've done that would've made some of y'all happy and meet your immediate gratification. He would've been walk in and Pope and nobody honestly thought that was gonna happen.

Maybe he has been juggling what an AD needs to juggle at a major university - specifically getting the cash cow SEC football program off the mat and into the national spotlight.

I met the guy, seemed like a genuinely nice guy who is interested in the fan base. But I can’t be sure, I only talked to him for a minute.

There’s no troll. It’s a legit scenario. UNC needs an AD and Batt is an alumn who worked as a grad assistant at UNC. If they were to come calling he’s gone.
