I am 4th generation Mormon. I know he and his brother Hyrum was murder in the Carthage Jail. I just didn't want to use murder. How he died didn't matter. By the way none of his family members went west to Utah. They broke away and formed the reorganized church of jesus christ of latter-day saints. It is name something else now.

Yep. That sect of Latter Day Saints believes the Garden of Eden was just off I-55 in rural Missouri.

While this is a terrible look, I wonder if a Utah alum doesn't really understand the whole "it just means more" slogan. Recent examples of this include the Apple Cup that had the combined logo on the field (remember the Egg Bowl sponsorship chaos last year?), and the recent photo of a Big 10 band carrying flags for all the member schools.

Which also goes for college athletes these days and some of you peons sit here and still contribute to nil. I don’t get it. When money enables stupid, count me out.
