Cary Hudson performing this evening at the Levitt AMP Downtown Jackson Music Series…

I remeber seeing him and I guess what was Blue Mountain at the Jackson Zoo back in the day around 1995. I had classes with his sister at Hinds…. Those were fun days! “Dog Days” was a great album!
So I’m sitting in my office today in downtown Jackson today and I hear music. And I think, wait a minute, that’s Blue Canoe.
So I walk outside and sure enough, it’s Cary Hudson doing a sound check. Heard Blue Canoe and a couple more. Really, really awesome random Thursday afternoon at work. And the girl can flat out sing.

That part of Jackson is controlled by Capital Police. No body ***** with them. It will be safe.
They performed it last night. So. Good.
I was hoping it would be played when I saw it was a full band show, and Cary had his electric guitar with him…
I’m shocked it took this long for this response. I don’t know how some of you guys ever leave your house. You don’t really hear of stuff happening too much in downtown Jackson.
