Too many miscues already….3 timeouts in 1st quarter, play clock issues, helmets coming off repeatedly. This shows me the team is not ready.

If a helmet comes off while play is going on, blow it dead, but don't punish the kid.
Meh, I dunno. All 3 were directly related to Sellers helmet. At the end of the day, we'll get it sorted and we're still up so..... good time outs in my book. Unfortunate, but good uses of them.
I'm liking me some Fuller and Augustave (??) impressed me too last week with a physical run.

Beamer teams are always poorly coached on fundamentals. Always the stupid mistakes, silly penalties, busted plays…
He had an ENTIRE offseason plus essentially 2 preseason games to prepare for Miss State at home af night. No offense to em but they arent Ohio State or Texas. And fhis is how we play?

This is unacceptable. The team is collapsing and the fans are leaving the stadium. If we lose this SEC opener at home against Mississippi State, I’d say it’s time to fire Beamer. There is just an accumulation of reasons like our horrible record from last season.

There’s too much talent on the roster to come out and get worked like this. Talent composite has Carolina at 15 nationally. Beamer has had chances and I just don’t see any way to spin it positively at this point. I’m ready to end the Beamer experiment.
This was THE pivotal game for Beamer. Entire offseason plus 2 preseason games to prep for Miss State and we look like ***
Beamer is in way over his head. He has no managerial or leadership skills. He is a nepo-baby coach, we would never have heard of him if his dad was not a famous coach. We are stuck with him because Ray Tanner was a loser AD. And we are still paying Tanner $1 million a year to nothing much, and we are stuck with Beamer because we cannot afford to fire him. Just sad, we deserve so much better than this.
Think about this: We annually out recruit Miss State at both the high school level and Transfer Portal. We had MSU at home. This is Beamer's 6th season here compared to Lebby's 3rd at MSU. We should beat this team. The fact is that Beamer was never either a OC nor DC, much less a Head Coach. He is a nepo baby hired with the hope that he can coach like his Dad. His supporters among Gamecock fans (and there were a bunch of them here), told us we should hire him because he was some super recruiter. Those fans sold the rest of us a "bill of goods" because Beamer has not recruited any better than those before him and recruited even worse. How many Ray Tanner hires have succeeded here?

Those 3 hired either a proven Head Coach or a successful OC or DC. We rolled the dice on a neophyte. It's inexcusable to have done that after rolling the dice on a proven FAILED Head Coach (Muschamp) before him. It's as if the power brokers here WANT to LOSE.
