According to the Andy Murray on Saturday, KT has been told from an early age by his family and Uncle Omar that he was going to be the one to change the narrative on our football program. I'd say he already has with more to come.

Possibly.

Playing on a team with a better O-line - Better protection = better stats. (Plus an injury would likely lower his draft spot)
Playing on a team that is more likely to be playing for a NC
Playing for a blue blood with the media connections to better push for a Heisman

All those things can get you a higher draft spot. I hope his love for State is enough to outweigh all this though.
With that said... My dad went to State. My BS is from State. Both my kids graduated from State, but If he were my kid, I'm not sure what advice I'd give him. I guess I'd have to see what all the options were.

I don't care how bad he wants to be at State, there has to be a break point where he would leave. An offer so high that State cannot come close to it and still provide the other players he needs to be successful.

What I don't know is what that break point is and whether anyone is willing to offer it. Maybe not this year, but they will have two more chances.

If keeps this up we have him for one more season max. So we just throw all our resources into next season. Every penny into the 2027 football team. Spend all the available funds to make the best team possible. Then we reset after he’s gone. It’s as simple as loading up our eggs in that basket, then switching up after he’s gone. Any $ not specifically earmarked elsewhere goes to that team. Shoot our shot and then reset. There’s really no other way to play it.

The NFL will find you no matter where you are if you are good enough. Moving to get a higher draft slot isn't necessary at all.

Yep that's why it's so important to finish the year strong so everyone can point to next year. We need to be competitive in all most our games, even if we take a bad loss here or there. Can't just get outclassed by anyone, else the agents gonna start whispering in his ear. I mean everybody takes a beatdown here and there, but can't be like a 41-6 sort of thing.

Think of what happened to that Judkins guy......had all the hype coming back but still bailed for a better team once Georgia had demolished them.....but he also wasn't a lifetime fan and instate MS kid. So there's that.

It's absolutely necessary, for the money difference alone. You cannot project future performance.......you could get hurt in your first year and your career will be over.

He's likely to win the Heisman this year. Particularly if he plays well in an upset of OM, Bama, or Texas.

and we won't have to spend a dime hyping him for it.

Like OM has already done with Chambliss.

Keep him healthy and he will easily be the best player in College Football this year in the position that matters.

Cam could throw a great pass, too. Kamario is on a different passing level than all the comparative players being mentioned.

Mike Vick would be another good comparison. He was mostly known for his speed. But he could make every throw Kamario makes...just not consistently.

That's basically Auburn's strategy with Newton, and it got them to the NC game.
