I had a conversation with Stansbury one day in the old alumni center (current police station) when he was the head coach. His disdain for all things ole miss was clear and unmistakable. Recalling that conversation, I'm a little surprised by this. But then again, I probably shouldn't be.

I get that it’s a job. I don’t like Kermit Jr taking that job but I can kind of understand that. It’s a lot of money. This isn’t. If I were in young stansburys position I couldn’t have taken that job. There’s like 300 schools you could work at. Find any one of the 299 others.

Isaac Stansbury is Director of Analytics and Scouting at LSU. Of course, Rick is Associate Head Coach at LSU.
Wonder what the 3rd Stans is doing.
