It feels different than “I believe”
Seems as if we can spot the ball and play with anyone. Not sure if that always goes our way or not but i am seeing things never seen before at state. Throat stomping everyone.

This may be the best Mississippi State offense I’ve ever seen. Got a couple of issues in the line. But I don’t know that I’d trade our skill position players with anyone in the country. Said that to a UMiss fan earlier this week & he got all defensive. And I understand that. Their qb & rb are great. But they don’t have the quality depth at receiver we do.
edit: I note there’s one very highly hyped absence fro the sec top 10 rushers so far this season. Hint, it’s not Fluff, he’s #5.

Based on FPI, Alabama should be about a 6 point favorite. Not sure if that's a clear favorite or a toss up, but it's a winnable game (if you take "Alabama" off the helmet).

The thread about Brian’s media poll was crazy. About 90% of the media picked us 6-6 but this board said they were way too optimistic.
I’ve gone back and forth between 6 and 7 but man the way we have looked so far we could do real well. Enjoy the ride gents this should be a fun season.
I can't disagree with any of the OP.
Getting MO, Ok, AU and VU at home is big. Especially OK and AU. I'm concerned the Vandy QB gets better and better as the season goes, we need that game at home too.
Obviously Bama at home is definitely a huge positive. Bama came back in a tough environment at UK. But I think State is better than UK offensively, hopefully we can poor some points on before they can put together a Bama type come back.
At Tx and LSU, will be tough. At OM, that late in season, comes down to injuries. Hopefully we are more healthy than them.

Because of the trauma of being a State fan all my life and especially the last few years, I find myself waiting for the rug to pulled out from under State.

Arnett is a difference and K1 is a generational talent that is just now learning how good he can be.
Cautiously optimistic....but I have learned to never count a win or a loss with State, cause....well....its State!

Actually feel like we’ve got a chance for a pretty nice two year run here with Kamario just based on how the schedule shakes out.
This year the rest of the way has winnable games. Next year you get to play Arkansas again and two of your road games are Kentucky and Vandy. Probably taking L’s in Tuscaloosa, Athens, and Knoxville but everything else looks very winnable a year in advance.

We will blow one, and upset one. I thought Texas was a definite loss last year and we almost won.
