Huge win for the GMen who had a healthy QB for the first time since game 1 of the season against Bluefield. The QB will likely be 1st team All State, but he got hurt in the very first series against Heritage and never played another down, then played barely on one leg in the win at Union. The G-Men were healthy tonight, and defending West Va AAA state champion Princeton suffered its first loss since 2024 and left Tazewell, Va shocked. Go G-Men!

It's awesome, but Union, Gate City, Ridgeview, and Radford will all challenge in the West. In the East, Armstrong seems to be rolling opponents, so I'm sure they are also good. As a Graham fan, I'm just happy to be in the conversation.
Yes, this year and next year were supposed to be our solid years. If we stay healthy on the line, we will be tough to beat. We have depth athletically at skilled positions, but little to no depth on the line, but our starters on the OL and DL are solid. We've been hurt. I don't want to take anything away from Heritage, but with our QB healthy and one of our best lineman, that's a different game. Our QB played the very first series and we went right down the field on Heritage. He got hurt that series inside the Heritage 30 I think, and never returned. Game over after that. We had a running back playing QB, and no way to move the ball on Heritages great defense. We finally were healthy against Princeton with the QB back and our first or 2nd best lineman back healthy, and it showed.
Even if we are healthy, getting out of Region D will be tough with Union, Ridgeview, and a Gate City team that is very improved.

Seriously if we think about it, Salem, VA, has been turning out solid football teams for over 60 years.
What a difference 2 weeks made for the G men!! They played a great defensive game against a very potent Princeton offense which came in averaging over 50 points a game and a school over twice Graham's size who has benefited from recruits.
