I know the OL hasn't looked awesome.

And the LT has struggled a lot at times. But they have blocked well enough for Fluff and KT to put up some great numbers so far because Fluff, KT and company haven't done it all on their own. For the Score From Far to work they have had to block longer than some lines have to do. Yes they need to improve a lot for this four game stretch, but they have blocked some DL at least sometime.

I know my wife sleeps around sometimes, but she doesn't 17 everything that moves, just most of them.

We've played against two really good edge rushers on that side, so we've asked a lot of that left tackle position.

I went and looked because I was curious how Minnesota's defensive line is doing - we rushed for over a 5 yard average against them, for over 250 yards. they held Washington to 40 yards rushing on 27 carries, so under 2 yards a carry. That seems to suggest our line was getting some work done in the running game.

Missouri was allowing about 2 yards a carry vs Kansas and Troy, we were over a yard a carry better.

We averaged 4.0 yards a carry against SC, Bama averaged 4.1

This is true. If the OL was garbage K1 wouldn't be standing there surveying the field as he does. Yeah sometimes the DE whips the LT and eventually gets Taylor but I'm pretty sure that 3 or 4 seconds is about all thats expected of a tackle. These DE line up 3 or 4 yards outside of the tackle and they are quick af. Not everybody is Charles Cross

I wish we had a big blocking tight end who could play on the outside as well. What helps with our protection on pass plays is KT's release is quick and smooth, his scanning the field is incredible also. Our OL is improving but we need to keep getting better and stay healthy!

Our OL is not awful, but it's the weak link for sure. As pointed out, mainly at Tackle, and most specifically at LT. But, it's an 8 win OL. We've had much worse. Here's the thing - we're probably a couple of stud tackles and a couple of upgrades at DT/DE away from being a playoff team. At least that's my current opinion. We'll know for sure Saturday.
