Think the WNBA will suspend A`ja for a game? The rules say she should be(& she should) but they won`t.

Yeah, you are one of those guys that want people to lie to you in order to feel better.

Was this supposed to make sense? All I asked for was a reasonable answer. You arent capable of giving one.

Hence why I went back and edited the post to say something different. Its a waste of time to try and get you to answer reasonably.

I wonder if all these so called WNBA Rules Police cared about the rules when the league office rescinded Caitlin Clark's eighth technical foul of the year so she could avoid a one game suspension in August. Professional leagues bend the rules to cater to their stars all the time. WNBA would be foolish to suspend one of the headlining stars in their biggest matchup to date in the season. It was never going to happen. If you thought so, you were wishing on a star.
You're truly incapable of simply saying: "Yeah, A'ja was clearly in the wrong, the fan was not." Full stop. The end.

You simply can't do it. You MUST DEFLECT.

I know, I know.....when all else fails > Racism.

This post wreaks of desperation. Beat A'ja tonight and you won't have to worry about her for the Fall or Winter. Stop trying to get a cheap victory. :ROFLMAO:
My post is factual.

Keep twisting your story and inserting your "whataboutisms" - Bottom line: A'ja screwed up, the fan did not and you simply cannot accept that.

You can stomp your feet and demand all you want. This is above you. They are not suspending Caitlin and they are not suspending A'ja either. A'ja would've had to go into the stands and gave that man hands in order to get suspended. ...and they would have begrudgingly did it then.
This post is not about Caitlin, stay on topic.

Topic: A'ja screwed up, went after a fan who did nothing wrong. - Full stop. The end. Accept that. Deal with it. Stop posting BS about it. Just accept it.

I know that. Just outlining the hypocrisy when people try to selectively enforce rules.

Not at all. I am just saying trying to ruin the biggest game of the year so far.by digging in the rulebook for violations is ridiculous. Actually, the rule indicates that A'ja should have been ejected from the game the Fever already won. So, the opportunity for punishment has technically passed. You don't think the league office was involved with that technical foul? They knew the rule then. So, common sense should let you know that there was no way they were going to suspend after the fact. I understand the attempt to get her suspended. However, you are not grounded in reality if you are walking around here mad about the decision.

Well, we've moved on from pretending the guy was at fault to pretending its about the rules are being applied selectively, or at all.

Nothing like having the testicular fortitude to just say you were wrong. :)

Yeah, I already said that earlier today: > "She should have been ejected. (Not suspended though, per the same rules)"

Again, Bottom line: A'ja screwed up, not the fan, should have been ejected.

Aces advance. Wilson finishes with 36 pts.
I will say this, though.... from what I could see, the Fever played some pretty impressive Defense, they were all over the Aces players multiple times, and they just couldn't be stopped. Everything was dropping for the Aces tonight. Tip my cap to them.

But I said what I said and I'll stand by it and we'll see the results bare out in a week or two.... now that Indiana and Caitlin are out, no one will tune in. I think in 2024 when they got eliminated, the viewership dropped by like 60% or something close to that.

18 pts IIRC. - Doesn't matter. Refs neutered her right from the start - less than 4 minutes in the game - gave her a technical.

I only see highlights that get posted on X and come across my feed. I saw one player on Clark's team get bodyslamed....then she was called for the foul.

I tend to roll my eyes and scoff at those who blame refs for the outcomes in our games (LSU game notwithstanding) but the WNBA official very clearly put their fingers...shoot....they put both feet...on the scales to affect outcomes. They aren't even sneaky about it. Someone else has said on here they are the basketball equivalent of the WWF, and that's supported by how the officials clearly skew the outcomes.

If you only watch highlights, you can't make a judgement. You see a few seconds of edited clips and don't see 95% of the action.

If viewership tanks without Caitlin, why would the league bend over backwards to make sure her team loses? What an illogical conspiracy theory.

Perfectly logical dude. "They" - WNBA - mostly hate Caitlin, more than they care about viewership. WNBA loses $$ year after year after decade anyway, but they've been propped up by the NBA for so long they take it for granted that the $$ will keep coming, and they're right.

In short, reverse racism. They don't like the clean cut white girl/s. "They" would rather have their woke thugs win.

Asia's (I'm going with phonetic spelling from now on) mom was also making a fool of herself at the game last night. Guess the nut didn't fall far from the tree.

There was a thread about this a while back. It couldn't be decided if they hated her for being white more, or for being straight.

You don't need context for "highlights" like this. It's fine for the ?NBA to be what it is. It's a rigged exhibition like the WWF. I thought professional wrestling was amazing when I was in elementary school.

So, the refs are just supposed to allow Caitlin to push a player in the chest and let it go. Yes, Brianna Turner, a former Fever player, was being silly by going in Caitlin's huddle. That's why they gave a double tech. Proper call.

How about look at the way teams play instead of crying about the refs. The refs tried to foul A'ja Wilson out the game. However, the Fever guards didn't take the hint. Instead of driving the ball to the rim and forcing the refs to make decisions about foul calls, they are out there jacking up 3s. Fever guards, Clark and Mitchell, jacked up 23 3s, they only made 6. Meanwhile they only had 8 foul shots between and Mitchell had 6 of those. Clark had A'ja switched off on her several times. Did she go to the basket? No. She looked for her little step-back 3 and passed the ball when A'ja wouldn't give it to her. However, the refs cost us the game is a familiar refrain from the book of "Things Losers Say".

Gee whiz, I wonder why they didn't drive the rim and trust the refs to call fouls on Asia.

If you knew anything about basketball, there was "foot to foot" contact between Boston and Wilson on that play. WNBA Refs who are basically NBA trainees hoping to move up are going to call that every time. Unfortunate for Boston there, but that's a foul. There were several calls that went in the Fever's favor as well that could have changed the game. Refs gave you 5 fouls on A'ja Wilson with about 8 minutes to play, and the Fever are too stupid to take the ball to the rim.

Exposed yourself. Come in and briefly have a rooting interest in a basketball game. Get mad when your team loses and call it Thug Ball. Go ahead and do what fans like you do. Don't watch another game for 2-3 decades.

I already told you. I, along with about 60% of the viewers won't tune back in until next season when Caitlin plays again.

Will not watch thugs.

But you have to admit, he was able to figure out your stance after you typed it out and posted it. That level of intuition is remarkable.

Thug life, baby. She's basically Angel Reece with possibly a little more talent. Maybe one day she'll even learn to walk and dribble at the same time without tripping over herself.

I take back my response above. There is some logic to what they do. The ?NBA exists purely as an entitlement organization. They exist only out of the good will of the NBA. At any moment, the NBA could pull their funding and the league goes bye bye. However, the ?NBA knows that won't happen b/c the NBA has the money to burn and it would give them bad PR for a week or two. Feeling confident in their funding from the NBA, the ?NBA doesn't need to worry about ratings. They can be fully agenda-driven, political and social issue organization, even if that means working to keep by far their most popular player out of the finals. They would rather stick to the message. If they actually had to make financial decisions, things would work differently.
