Spoiler alert: they invented the "player escape lane" to justify not suspending her as the rules stipulate.

Spoiler #2: the term "player escape lane" exists in no other ?NBA publication/communication besides their explanation for not suspending Asia.

Bottom line: - There was no way "they" were going to let Caitlin and the other straight, white girls on the Fever advance.

Adcoop will be along in 3, 2, 1.....to change the narrative, re-write history, or just flat out deflect from the obvious.

35 free throw attempts for the Thugs - 20 Free throw attempts for the Fever. - The whole internet is abuzz about the game being rigged. Of course it was.

Well, the rule does specify the first row of spectator seating as the boundary. Did she actually go into the spectator seating or did it all take place in and around the photographer area on the baseline?

Look, she's the best player in the league and it's not really close. She may go down as the GOAT. I'll never understand why the best players have to get all of the calls on top of being the best. I mean, she steamrolled over Cunningham on that play and they called the foul on Cunningham.

Edit for posterity: She definitely went into what is considered the stands. Should have been ejected.

If that was the case, they could have said that, but they had to invent "player escape lane".

I have never seen people go on so badly about a game that the team you rooted for won. If the Aces had made some sort of comeback in Game 2, you may have an argument. However, the Fever won. There is no rule that you can go back and suspend a player because you missed ejecting in the game before. This is sore losers creating stuff so they can feel persecuted. Doing everything but holding the players accountable for not playing well enough.

First of all, I told ya'll so....knew he'd be along shortly to attempt to re-write history, add his own BS narrative, flat out deflections and lies... I was not wrong.

> According to league rules, game-day officiating decisions do not limit the commissioner's authority to review actions and issue subsequent fines or suspensions independently of whether an ejection occurred on the floor

You are the undisputed king of "creating stuff" (BS) in order to try to twist your BS narratives.

We're trying to hold the players accountable - people like you won't allow it. -Go ahead......say something else.....

As I noted previously, I think it just highlights that the ?NBA is a contrived performance, akin to professional wrestling.

They can ignore, suspend, change or create rules as necessary. I remember watching wrestling when I was a kid and 2 guys could be wrestling. A 3rd guy could emerge and jump into either help one of the other wrestlers or create a 3-way fight. That's the ?NBA....whatever goes.

Of course, unlike professional wrestling in which the "whatever goes" philosophy was for the purpose of entertainment, in the ?NBA it's to drive a political/social narrative.

They really didn't. They are just scared to tell the Clark mob a flat out no.
Yes, they REALLY DID...... Since you're always going on about the "rules" (that you make up in your head) - Just download a WNBA rulebook and find that page where we can ALL READ THE WORDS : "player escape lane."

Hint; You won't find it. Why? Because THEY MADE IT UP.... like you're making BS up right now and I'm going to call you out on it every single time.

I remeber wresting back when Flair and Black Jack Mulligan, etc. The "referee" would act all distracted by something else while a third person jumps into the ring and takes down the fan favorite. Ahh the good ole days.

Watching the take down of Lexie Hull last night and the foul called on Lexie reminded me of that.

If they didn't invent it, then point to anything in ?NBA regulations that mentions the player escape lane.

He can't and he knows it.

Notice evolution of the argument?

She didn't do it.
Well there's video.

The mean man said something mean.
He said "that foul is on you"

There are no rules prohibiting it.
Here's the rule right here.

You just dont like the one team.

At least Trannytree knows its a lost cause and has reverted ro just posting lame memes because they/them know they dont have a point.

You know her name is A'ja, right? She's the best right now and she gets a lot of bad calls that go her way as a lot of stars do. She had one moment where she overreacted to a D-hole in the stands. It's not like she's a career Rodman or Artest. It's a pretty childish swipe to take at her, intentionally misspelling her name. It's not like she's a former climpson player, for Pete's sake.

Wrong. - What's childish is trying to defend the indefensible after the fact by re-writing history.

A'ja could have said in her post-game interview "The Fever security team reviewed it and found the fan did nothing wrong. The league reviewed it as well and found the fan did nothing wrong. It was me who was in the wrong, and I apologize not only to my teammates and the fans, but that particular fan as well. I was wrong and I apologize."

Instead, in her presser, she doubled down on her woke BS and that's just the way it is with these people. You'll never hear them accept responsibility and apologize for anything, ever. Instead, they scramble to re-write history and lie. Flat out lie, and then try to force that lie down our throats and when we push back and call them out on their BS, it's > Racist, homophobic, transphobic, all the phobics.... these people collectively have 3 brain cells.

^ completely missed the joke

Well, I was wrong. Figured it was spellcheck.

But I dont think a fan standing up and yelling "that foul is on you" really constitutes a D-hole. I think that is an excuse to try and lessen the impact of A'Jj'aie's overreaction. Jmo

I hear you but there is a but there..... forget about the commissioner or whatever, per the actual rules - it does not call for a suspension.

I, unlike some others, can be fair. Her being ejected, not being ejected, suspended, not being suspended is not what bothers me. At all.

What bothers me is "others" trying to re-write the history of what happened to avoid any personal accountability whatsoever. Because, God forbid, we can't have that. That's the part that bothers me. Re-writing completely false BS such as making up some imaginary "player space" that isn't even the rule book. A'ja had a chance to apologize - she didn't do it. She doubled down on stupid. (That's what they do. Every. Single. Time.)

It cannot be repeated enough: Both the Fever security team and then the League themselves reviewed the "incident" and found that the fan did NOTHING wrong. - So that only leaves one other person.... it's simple math. But the "others" will deny that too. - And I know that you know all this.

Oh, she definitely overreacted and her answer to the question in her presser made it worse. She should have apologized for her overreaction and said it will never happen again. It was really stupid, but this generation doesn't know a whole lot about personal responsibility.

The league so wanted that man to have made racial comments, but he didn't.

The star of the league acted like a fool but they protected her at all costs. Remember our WBB coach canceling the series against BYU because of false allegations of a racial slur?
