It's the only way it's ever going to change. The only way.

Cancel everything USC related. Everything. ~ And no donations either. Stop it.

I played golf with a couple of alumni this morning. They did the same. My question is who are the big donors? Automotive groups? McDaniel, dick dyer?

Everyone on here should call the Billionaire Blanchards Monday morning and tell them they aren't buying another piece of earth-moving equipment from them until they stop supporting USC athletics.

That should shake things up in a hurry. (y)

I too was traveling from Lake Hartwell to home games in Columbia once upon a time. I was disgusted by that loss last night, but imagine how much more disgusted I would be if I had invested my _entire day_ into that event and had drive back late last night. That's a gut punch.

There are a lot of fans that show up each saturday from Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Charleston, and other places that spend about 4hrs or more on the road roundtrip for every game. It's hard to imagine most of those folks won't just stay home if Beamer comes back after losing season this year. If the Gamecocks start winning again, some of those fans will start making that investment again, but a lot of them will be gone forever because they'll remember how much nicer it is to have their Saturday's back and a lot more money in their wallet.

Not a big donor by any stretch, and haven’t given a dime of NIL, but I discussed it with the wife last night. We will keep our $10k we normally spend on tix each year and invest the money going forward.

I’m done with giving up my whole Saturday, not watching any other games, spending an hour loading the Tahoe, and another unloading it, spending $100 on gas, $200 on food, sweating my stones off cooking on the Blackstone, driving 4 hrs, sitting in the parking lot waiting to get out for another 1hr, only for this administration to continue w the same ole, same ole and if we’re lucky, get more than 4 wins.

I’ll continue to pull for them, but will do so with more $ in my pocket and from the comfort of my couch, while enjoying all
of the other college football games.
