I think it is safe to say that colleges dont recruit baseball players from their HS stats and how they perform at the HS game itself.....he has gone to play in regional events in summer ball, PG events, etc....it aint how he played against 1A schools...
And once upon a time the Chicago Bears spent the #4 overall pick on a running back from Jackson State.
Same here. I can’t even tell what the dude’s last name is from the tweet, so they could perhaps improve their marketing a bit. It’d help to know what 1A school you’re referring to unless I’m missing something that’s right in front of my face.
As for the first name, if it’s a rural MS travel ball super hero, the only question was whether it was going to be Jackson, Jakcson, Jakson, Jaxon, Jaxxon, Jaxin, Jakxsin, Ja’Xon, or Jagson. Certainly appears to be one of those.
So he's the number 5 recruit in the nation for 2028...sounds like GA is doing good???
My mistake. Still sounds like someone that is worth recruiting??
All 10 of them in red up top were named by their parents specifically to fit in with the other kids in travel ball. Crazy the trends in names.
and the 49ers used the 16th pick on Crawford, MS and former MVSU receiver Jerry Rice.
