He wanted to play. The medical staff cleared him to play.Should have sat him at Bama. Bad move playing him. Its not tanking a game. Its protecting the teams best asset.
I'm thinking the same. The way the week played out ahead of the game with no mention of KT on the availability report and Fluff staying probable gave more hope for a miracle against Bama than was practical in reality. I would certainly have felt different about that game and the rest of the season if we would have taken a beatdown with KT and Fluff sitting, but the possibility of a return against LSU in 2 weeks.Should have sat him at Bama. Bad move playing him. Its not tanking a game. Its protecting the teams best asset.
Thinking outside of the box here. I wonder what the financial impact to the community and university if Lebby listed KT as injured for the Bama game ahead of time. I bet the crowd and excitement would have been a lot smaller. Of course Bama fans may have backfilled the stadium.I'm thinking the same. He didn't injure it any worse vs Bama and he gave us at least a chance to win the damn game. This is just an incredibly stupid take on the situation. Lebby is handling KT1 exactly as he should be. He's not taking any unnecessary chances with him and he's doing everything possibly to protect him (even at the expense of losing a lot of his running threat even when he's healthy).Should have sat him at Bama. Explain to me how you know any of that ? Are you knowledgeable on turf toe and bad ankles ? Personally I use to think you had some decent takes on stuff but your insistence on this topic makes me think you are an idiotHe didn't injure it any worse vs Bama and he gave us at least a chance to win the damn game. That is probly a fact. Unless it was day of game. Like a check it during warm ups type thing. Regardless of what anyone thinks playing on it did not help it heal. I dont know how anyone can believe that. Honestly he may not heal all year.Thinking outside of the box here. There's no category for "injured". There's "Out", "Doubtful" or "Questionable". There was never any question KT1 was playing. Only reason he came out was because the game had gotten out of hand.Thinking outside of the box here. Well, KT1, our coaches, and our team doctors ALL felt like he could play without really making it any worse. But hey, what do they know? That is probly a fact. Unless it was day of game. Correct. In my hypothetical example I should've said Out instead of injuredThere's no category for "injured". There's "Out", "Doubtful" or "Questionable". There was never any question KT1 was playing. Only reason he came out was because the game had gotten out of hand.
He certainly didn't look 90%. He would not run. Seemingly could not push off his plant foot. No threat to run, innacurate passes and several people, including Lebby saying well he is playing hurt and it effected his play. Google turf toe. It seems to be stage 2. Only treatment is rest unless it gets worse. Then it will be surgery. But yeah, it would be stupid to rest him. Let's just lose him for the season. Genius. K1 will always want to play. Somebody has to be smart.enough to let him heal. But maybe 2 weeks will be enough. We gone learn thoWell, KT1, our coaches, and our team doctors ALL felt like he could play without really making it any worse. But hey, what do they know?
As long as we're playing doctor, looked more like Grade 3 to me. In which case, he's going to be very limited all season and only question is can he play through the pain and finish season out before possible surgery or go ahead and shut it down now.He certainly didn't look 90%. Let's hope its not grade 3. There is no playing thru grade 3. The more he uses it the worse it will get.As long as we're playing doctor, looked more like Grade 3 to me. I use Google. Its as simple as rest and therapy to heal or continue 17ing it up until its time for surgery. Joe Burrow missed a season for it. Its not like gout. We’ve always had coaching experts on SixPack. Now we have medical experts. I don’t know why the training and coaching staff don’t have a Q and A session with SixPackers. It would solve all their problems.
