Seems like the anti-Caleb crowd is strangely silent after the game.
They didn't get any favors with the early season schedule but was hoping for a little better before Bedard returns.
I don't care if he gets weekly manicures, if he can bring a championship to Chi-town I am good with it. But I am realistic, I feel like he has certainly had flashes of brilliance but want to see consistency with high completion % and hitting quick reads in time.
With Mike Ditka's passing last week and looking at some of his "greatest hits" online, we knew back then when he was fired that we wouldn't see another like him. That was an easy prediction. But I think some of us also guessed we wouldn't see teams like he coached from 1984-88 ever again. And those of my generation won't. Yeah, it was only one SB appearance and win. That part was and still is disappointing. A healthy QB may have helped in those playoff losses. But, the NFC playoffs were much tougher to navigate than the AFC back then.
The Bears are a long way from teams like that. Maybe they shouldn't think about that. But they should start thinking of taking some more pride in their game. GB was only one loss. And I am no NFL picks expert. But I did pick GB to win. The only reason I did was because Williams wasn't playing and it was in GB. I heard the Bears were favored going into that game. And it was the first time they were favored in GB in 22 years. Kind of gives you an idea where they were.

You got that right. I’ve rarely noticed the guy. He makes a lot of money to be so invisible.
His only stat Sunday was one QB pressure against one of the worst OL in the league. He gets his sacks in garbage time or because of coverage. Never been worth the money

I hope not. Quick turnaround to playing TNF. Unfortunately, we'll have to sit through the noodle-arm for one more Sunday.
In a perfect scenario I agree but if he is cleared, I would bet he plays Sunday.
With that news we can conclude he'll be under center on Sunday. It would have been interesting to see their thinking if the Bears had beaten GB.
I hope I'm wrong, but JJ and Kyler haven't played well since getting paid. The good news is that it can't get any worse than last week

You say that like it's happened all year. The Bears have face one back up all year when they played the Vikings.
Didn't like the under throw, but he was open. Also didn't help that the ref stood flat footed while he was scrambling so he got ran into mid throw.
