For HCIW to work, the HC needs to be on the way out the door. Usually its because its an old HC. But in this case, Beamer needs to be let go for Briles to get a shot at interim.

Tranny knows everything and everybody. The pay board is loaded with people exactly like him. He would fit in very well over there.
Beamer will be here through the end of the year, even if they lose (Which is very possible) every game left on the schedule!! Hell, they will probably be undedogs in all of them!!
One of they/them is bad enough. Maybe i should pay for Tranny's membership so they/them can go be with they/their own kind?
Personal insults online won't change anything.
I know a board member- not the entire board. I don't know any of the others. But I do know one because I went to high school with this person and we maintain a friendly, infrequent, relationship. Knowing a board member is not an accomplishment and certainly doesn't mean someone knows everyone.
I do know, in this situation, the BOT isn't going to make the AD doing anything related to Shane Beamer. They are not interfering and are not putting pressure on the school or the athletic department. That's by design and their choice. I think it's a good one and makes sense, despite the justified deep frustration related to the football team.
That might make some people mad but it's reality and that's the way it is and 500,000 angry posts and insults on here by people not even posting their real names won't change anything but the blood pressure of the person typing.
Such is life.
Making up crap on posts will change about as much as personal insults will.
The "i happen to know...." story you tell in thread after thread is laughable, and stale.
But you get credit for making up not only a useless story, but one that can't be proven one way or another. The bot wont pressure the AD?

This particular BOT isn't going to get involved with Shane's job. That's reality no matter how much the ******** whine about it and post about it. This particular board is specifically focused on not doing that more than any board anytime in memory. That might be the correct move or the wrong move, but it's the move. Nothing has changed- and nothing certainly will change based on idiots on here.

When evaluating performance of top school employees, e.g., the AD, it's much more than wins and losses of any specific sport or sports. Does the AD run a tight ship, is he/she fiscally responsible, etc.,The BoT always just rubber stamped Ray-Man it seemed to me.

I meant the hirings, the extensions, those seemed rubber stamped. Not being an insider it seemed to me he got whatever he asked for. That was my point. Will Donati? I think we also have a different president since Tanner was named AD. And the SEC has always been a president's league.
I agree with this comment, while I think Ray Tanner was a terrible AD who made some really poor decisions. All of these mistakes were approved by the BOT. From hiring bad coaches and then compounding those mistakes by giving those bad coaches large buyouts after showing a small measure of success, only to struggle (as one might have expected) very soon thereafter. Due to those buyouts, the school was and still is stuck with two of them, the other was paid rather well to be fired and is now the DC at Texas.The BoT always just rubber stamped Ray-Man it seemed to me.

The Board's job with respect to the athletic department is to oversee that the right leadership is in place
For far too long the Board injected themselves into athletics and that this board knows that has been a mistaken venture too many times and that they know the university had a bad reputation based on that for many years.
In this particular case, I was specifically told the Board thinks they have an effective and successful athletic director in place and that he's doing a good job in overseeing the athletic department and all that is involved in that and they are in support of him and his decisions- that they are not second guessing him. It was also said to me that they feel fortunate to have the AD. That's reality.
Or a made up story on an anonymous message board with zero proof.
I asked my super best buddy on the board and he said your story was full of garbage.
