How would you approach Kamario and Fluff injuries?

They dont do that in the NFL. They will sit a QB in a minute over turf toe ankle or shoulder. Skill positions lose a lot of effectiveness with injuries. OL play with the ankles wrapped with stiffeners and knee braces all the time. Different positions require different movement. Kamario could play like Dan Marino with a big brace and be a statue.

Why is football treated differently than most other sports when talking about injuries? Is it because it is typically looked at as a "tough guy" sport? If pitchers are suffering soreness or tightness in their arm, coaches don't run them out there and fans aren't up in arms when they don't play. Why? Why should Ryan McPherson's early season arm issue be treated differently than Kamario's foot/hamstring? We are not a playoff team in 2026 no matter who we have available on offense. However, we can possibly get to eight wins if we have our best players down the stretch to play OK, Auburn, Vandy, and Ole Miss. If we don't have them available we will struggle to reach .500
with a healthy KT and Fluff we very much are a possible 2026 playoff team. Every team we have left on our schedule has shown they are beatable this year.

With a 12 team playoff, there is no difference in winning 6 games or 8. You should absolutely be playing for the playoff. Why are we not a playoff team in 2026?

Every one of you took the bait. Yes KT was nicked up during the Bama game. But this is all Lebbro playing with Lane’s head. This team is ready to go and WILL be 5-1 Saturday evening

I think probably because if McPherson can't pitch, he's totally useless to the baseball team until he can.

While, on the other hand, even if K1 can't run, he can read the defense, run the offense, and drop dimes 65 yards down field.

is this really true with turf toe? the pick six he floated a 15 yard pass. turf toe impacts everything when you're on your feet.

First, I would run an organization that has the best interest of the player first. Once cleared by the doctors to play, he only plays if he can give us a better chance to win in whatever reduced state he can play.

That is where it gets murky and takes more knowledge than anyone on this message board possesses. Message boards are full of know-it-alls that don't know **** about the extent of the injury or the prospects of it being made worse playing. What little I know came from Google and that line is just throwing crap and hoping it sticks. AI has no clue if what it is saying is right or wrong. It has no concept of truth.

It's easy to second guess coaches and doctors after the game but they are making a more informed decision than I could make.

I hate that this whole week has been an injury discussion.

Discussing specific matchups or opportunities to take advantage of LSU would have been more interesting.

Lebby has the info and will do what is needed.

I think they both play.

And I think it is gonna be a hell of a game.

This isn’t the nfl where close to half the teams make the playoffs & they have $50 million contracts invested in the top players.

Exactly. You don’t throw away a chance at a win when it will probably cost you a playoff bid if you lose.

Agree completely. These whole discussions are going to loom silly when KT plays & then plays vs Oklahoma. Fluff I’m less certain about. Partially because you can compensate for a nagging turf toe for you qb a lot easier than you can a high ankle sprain for your rb.

If I had to wager, it would be that neither plays. But I believe Fluff could get limited carries, KT in streets.

So if we were paying him more we should be more cautious with his injury ? Its not gonna heal while he continues to play. We will see how much good the bye week did him. Maybe its enough.

You may as well go ahead and prepare for the OU loss, that is coming

I point you to our schedule last year. We are currently at the Texas A&M game, and results will likely be the same
The hate in your heart you have for this program is sickening. It’s almost like you want us to fail. You are one POS fan who doesn’t even know why you hate the program… you just do. I bet you’re bitter about your plot in life as well.

The thought that the MSU staff is just playing head games with the LSU staff crossed my mind. Then someone pointed out that if we have "Low IQ Lebby in a game of wits with Lane. Lord help us."
