I thought App State could have hired better, as he has never been a HC, only an oc in college for 2 seasons.

He failed downward to SC, then somehow App hires him. They usually hire very well there and then guys move up. I can't remember when they had a coach as bad as him

App St is 4-2 with a bad loss in bad weather.
Loggains is one of the reasons we had a good season in '24 and that's one of the reasons they hired him.
They may not have had the $$ to go big.

Nah, I don't think he had anything to do with our modest success in 24. He's record is bad and App is down.

9-3 before the bowl game is not modest. We'd die to have that now.
The only loss we were not in the game was the loss to Ole Miss.

Loggains left before the bowl game.
He called those plays that gave us the great comeback win v. Mizzou. The shovel pass to Rocket Sanders was a brilliant call.

Despite the early difficulties, the team finished 9–3 and with the third-best rushing offense in the conference.

His offense here did have a certain allure.

Call some play, have it break down, then just Watch Sellers run around for a while.
Selective memory? 🙄
Sellers had better passing stats under Loggains in '24. That's one of the reasons he was given lots of attention post season. Loggains was his QB coach.

He has a better OL in '26, but his WR corp is nothing close to the gang we had in '24.
In all fairness, we did start this season with injuries to key WRs.

Selective memory? His passing stats were remarkably similar between 24 and 25. His rushing uardage dropped quite a bit though.

2024- 65% 2534 yds. 18/7. Td/int
2025 - 61% 2438 yds. 13/8 td/int

His rushing stats did drop by 400 yards, but had similar Td's (7 dropped to 5)

Yea....selective memory.

Sellers went from 17th in the nation in passing efficiency in '24, to 53rd in '25.

Your supposed to get better, not noticeably worse.

Really? Selective memory?
The ranking you reference is a comparison of his stats vs other's stats. Meaning it can change based on other qb's play, not sellers.

A qb can throw for the exact number of yards, td's and int's from one year to the next, but still rise or fall in that ranking.

Thats why I just posted his actual numbers. And as I said, they are remarkably similar.

These stats are just his, not dependent on some guy from some other conference that may have done better or worse, and therefore changed his relative ranking.
