You're the dubmass that created the idiotic thread in the first place. But you're right…those missing players sure would've transformed our defense today.
Look I know you have a crush on me and all. But stop with the post stalking.

yes I started this thread in September

You should take an SPS break for s few hours (or days)

And be willing to read fair criticism of this team and coaching staff without taking it personally.
I’m all about fair criticism but in no way can you sit there and say today was all on Lebby. Our two best offensive players out. The guy we signed to be the backup QB hasn’t been a 100% this season so we have to turn to a walkon. Not ideal. But I will stand by this point. No matter what Lebby does from here on out a percentage of this board and some fans will just never support him.
And again i didn’t bump this thread so bringing this thread up during a game we were short handed is weak. Which points to the fact some just don’t like Lebby and wanted to be sure this thread was bumps for that reason

Just like Maroon eagle said, pure projection. But he's a lot smarter than me so I prefer stupid memes.

What's funny about this is that he was crying about somebody bumping this thread, when he bumped the same thread himself after the Mizzou game. I don't know what he's so emotional about...it's his own fault.

My thoughts exactly, are the answers locked after a few weeks in September, especially since we just heard he bumped and reopened it himself after Mizzou?

77 please step away from the keyboard, put your hands in the air, and be like Stingray and go choose another team.
Edit: and please take POTUS with you and y'all can be miserable and recover together

He’s a fan.

I’m kind of surprised he’s acted this way. We’re State fans. We know that Lucy is going to pull that football away…

We got curb stomped 31-0 today. In year 3, it is 100% on Libby.

Yep, this is his team. There were plenty of reasons to give him excuses in years 1 and 2, and we all know what they were. But being this soft and unprepared after a bye week, going into a game that was going to be tough even in the best of circumstances is pretty inexucable.
I want him to succeed but 1/3 of a season seems to be all the coaching ability he's got.

And why is it impossible for him to kick a field goal? Any halfway descent coach wants to get that goose egg off the scoreboard.

Why is it impossible for him to go out and buy some quality lineman? Every other SEC team can do it, but we cannot? It it him, or will quality linemen just not come to Starkville?

But, I see no reason to fire him if Keenum, Incorporated is still going to be making the next hire. May as well leave it alone.

it was at the end his first year or the start of his second. You had to know Lebby was not a good coach when the sec network had him mic’d up for practice. The things he was saying to his coaches. You knew then he was only in it for the money and just going through the motions instead of really trying to improve a team and make them better. Just being there and having the title was peaking for him.

What's dumb is making an "has your opinion changed on Lebby" at the beginning of the season after like three games. Lot of season left at that point. Yes our wins seem be better, but there is a chance we could still finish with the same or worse record than last year. And if you don't have backs up that can play when starters are hurt that's foodbalk. We should have a two deep to be competitive in 2026, if not you got the wrong guy. LSU is beatable and we couldn't even score. Bama made us look terrible too. Bama has since lost two games. Lebby has to be better in year 3. Inexcusable

Lebby doesn't know how to build a roster through evaluation or development. Neither does ZA. We've got two guys that can call plays pretty good and scheme well enough to win. But they are both clueless on how to get enough talent to compete in the SEC outside of perfect conditions that will never pan out. There's some talent out there to score some points and makes some plays on defense but we are paper thin to . Year 3 guys. Year 3.

How in the HailState did Lebby think we could win many games this season IF KT got injured with no credible 2nd string QB in sight ? Our offensive line and D line isn't that good either . He could be doomed if KT can't play a few more games . We need a 2nd string SEC caliber QB badly .

A brand new excuse to add to the Mississippi State “fan” list - “our backup QB isn’t 100%”.

Not really. He's still a poor recruiter overall, he's terrible at clock management, he doesn't make good "in game" adjustments, his teams often seem to quit on him at times, line play is spotty at best but he's won 11 games in two and half years and three of those were conference games. I'm sure he's on someone's hot board to hire.

I'd argue that the quality of the lineman is a much bigger deal than the subpar backup QB. Puckett was under ridiculous pressure all day and Leavitt could survey the field unless we brought the house and gave him easy targets.

On a game where our two best players are out. You must be drunk and think you’re witty by bumping this thread. Be better. Get sober
What does it say about the coach if we're getting absolutely manhandled by a middle-of-the-pack team, with zero chance to compete, because we're only missing two players...regardless of if they're our best two?

We were missing our two best players (yes), but we looked like a JUCO team out there.

You don't have to be a regular at Spring practices to know that won't cut it.

Woah now. Don't go questioning the OL... @Bulldawg77 and @o_Hot Rock will bust a spring, as those players were all high-star recruits in HS.
I’ll post this one last time for you and others because frankly I’m just tired on this fan base and this especially board.
To many people on here (not all…AGAIN not all) want success but yet don’t want to make the effort to donate or get to the games. To many on here would rather support a non rev sport than support football. That I know is going to hit home for many but it’s true. To many people on here would rather Lebby or in some cases any coach fail than support the program. They love to live in MSU misery…To many on here don’t care to see what this program has been through in the last 4 years holistically. The cohen fiascos, the lack of fan support, not buying in early on NIL, roster mismanagement, and a coach dying. They just think snap your figures give everyone money and players come here. Like it’s shopping at Amazon or Walmart. Not how it works.
All I have done over the last few years is; A try to bring positive energy, B; call out lies and falsehoods, C; encourage (maybe went about this the wrong way) donations, and D; post what i had seen and what i had heard.
I’ll take a break as I was encouraged to do yesterday by many and I’m fine with that. It’s clear this board has become a cesspool of negativity and this fanbase and this program will not change because of fans like that. It’s just a fact. You continue to post nonsense and be negative it will continue to influence the entire fans base, if it hasn’t already.

So all that said y’all have a good one. Hailstate

I give. I support. I attend games. I just want our staff to take the LOS seriously. And that starts at the HS level and with development. It’s the toughest place to portal to success
