Taking LSU and the points was like taking candy from a baby. Pocketed myself a nice little sum today. Hate betting against my team but it was an absolute no brainer.
But betting Bama, Texas, Georgia would have lost you a bunch. I'm sure there are some judicious bets out there, but a bunch of who knows happen each Saturday.

Now that I agree with but I only bet when I feel overly confident and knew w/o K1 that today would be a disaster. I also stay away from those games with super high 40 plus point spreads. Those are traps.

Bruce, are you going to the baseball alumni game? If so and you run into Justin Pigott, tell him I said hello. I reckon he’s still over FCA there.

I had a decent weekend betting overs. I did get lose on Bama laying the points and Oregan State laying the points though.

I did go heavy on TOSU -2.5 and that saved the weekend.

Rarely do I sports bet but when I do I usually bet on the over under and not the spread and I do pretty good with it. I’m very judicious with my picks.

That being said I’m kicking myself for not driving out to Tunica this week and putting money on LSU to cover.

Why would anyone bet on college sports? Everyone talks about their wins but never brags on their losses. Casinos don't build those Taj Mahals with bettors wins
How’s this for a loss…..I bet Arizona State +12 vs Nebraska back in college. Game goes to OT. Bag that money right? Nebraska scores first. Bag that money right? Jake then snake Plummer throws a pick. All Nebraska has to do is fall down. Do they? No. Ran it back. Nebraska wins by 13. Take that money out of the bag.

I like to play for fun sometimes, but it’s definitely a fools errand. All official gambling from black jack to slots is a game designed for the player to lose. It’s a sure thing for the casino.
