ND has two challenging games on their whole schedule and lost the 1st one. Why are they always so over-rated? They have proven nothing.

This was just another game to ND but to BYU football team this was a life changing event. Easy to get up for one game and be healthy for that game when you play no one. Let BYU play SC, Missouri, Alabama before playing that game and see how many of their starters they have out for that game. Now I am going to have to explain that to my wife's brother when he comes over and ask did, I watch the game and how did State do full knowing what State did. That's why I hate BYU football. My wife's two brothers who both graduated form BYU Provo are insufferable prinks about it.
A. You do not have to explain anything to anyone. Pretty much how I have lived my millennia on this human plane.
B. I was almost unlucky enough to marry a Mormon but ended up with cult light in a Catholic girl. Everybody I ever met that was Mormon and had ever been to the BYU campus was a dick about it.
C. It sounds like you have a problem with Mormons more so than BYU football. What I hate about Mormons is they are so fake and all freaks and doing drugs behind the scenes while telling others how to live their lives. The smart ones know it is just a pyramid scheme for religion and the dumb ones believe some guy found plates in the ground.

Being a fourth-generation Mormon I don't have a problem with Mormons. I have a problem with my wife's brothers. I know a lot of Mormons who went to Utah and Utah State who hates BYU football as well.

Annnd Notre Dame only fell to 4th in the AP this week. Of course they only fell two spots.
Guess who is the only team in history to have a player win the Heisman with a losing record, and they were 2-10.
They lost a close game on the road to the #8 team. How much should they drop?...I guess 6th wouldnt make me think twice. More than that seems excessive.
The annoyance comes from the fact that they start ranked in the top 10 every year no matter what and then play absolutely nobody. They are basically guaranteed a playoff spot because of it
They lost their first real test of the season against a team that themselves may be a pretender when the rubber hits the road.
I mean... if all it takes to be number two in the country is to beat Utah Tech, Arizona, Colorado State, TCU, Iowa State, and an eye tested as mediocre Notre Dame.... MSU should really consider jumping conferences. Since evidently being in the SEC warrants being tossed completely out of the poll from 16th because your starting QB and RB couldn't play against the now 18th ranked team.
The Mormons that I know are really good folks.
That would be Paul Hornung. Who actually turned out to be a really good nfl player for the Packers.
