I don’t think there’s any question the quality of play in college football has gotten worse in the last few years.

It's one for the records!

First time ever where 5 of the top 7 top teams lost at the same time in an odd week in an even month of an even year.

...this makes me think of when obscure and specific MLB stats are posed as records...
'the only time a lefty pitcher has won after they faced 5 lefty hitters in an evening game on an even date in July on the western side of the Rockies.'

Based off of what metrics ?
I’m genuinely curious. Not saying you’re wrong.

i’m seeing unreal skill position play from receivers and quarterbacks.
Are you seeing it mainly on the defensive side of the ball?

You didn't ask me but I think I'm seeing teams full of talent who are all there only for the money and play like it from time to time.
