Just like you've been saying Freddie --- The league is largely beating itself up this season.

The failure of our coaches to have our team ready at the start of the season is becoming more tragic all the time. All three of the games we lost have been proven to be winnable.

AP
#19 Texas (4-2)
#20 Florida (5-2)
LOL!
Gotta wonder if a computer ranking would take head to head into account.

I recall three solid game plans out of the gates. It was players turning the ball over in key moments (loss turnover battle in each) along with not making catches. Coaches also made some lame calls in key moments. It was a collective effort.

We had more yards and MSU and UK. Just lost a couple of close ones to teams that are very close to us.

And of course, the last thing we would want to do is give them props for an excellent game against UF at UF with backs to the wall. :)

The entire league has been plagued.

Nah, pretty sure they were coached ‘ready’. What we didn’t do was execute like we can and indeed like we have been coached. Sometimes, relatively often really, good teams find themselves after a little adversity. Let’s hope that’s us now.

That would have been a first-game, one-game deal; not a multiple-game deal.

Mindset, Brother, mindset. That's one of the reasons you have coaches, to promote mindset. Don't let the people hired to establish it, and in overall charge of the product, off the hook - ever.

If it would otherwise mean to hold them accountable for execution errors, ie Sellers in Miss st game, corners in the Kentucky game, Arch in the Florida game yesterday, Gunner in the Auburn game yesterday then yes, they’re off the hook. We don’t go praising Beamer or Briles when Sellers threads the eye of a needle, do we; breaks off a 75 yard run? When Fuller breaks a tackle and pushes a scrum for a first down? They know what to do, they are coached to win and they CAN win, but they have to do it.

92.

And it can go the other way as well; can’t remember the season but under spurrier we were ranked no 6 at the halfway point and goose egged the rest of the games.

There are parts of this that are completely reasonable.

But if you really believe this, the coaching staff will never be questioned, as its always the players fault for not being successful.

Certainly, those would have been nice to have. However, it seemed clear to me that Sellers has had to get his groove back in live action after dealing with the Shula offense and that hopefully seems to be coming around now.

A little over a week ago, the sea of BOTs on this board like Lurker123 were calling for Sellers to be benched, transfer, etc.

A week later it's dawning on those same knuckleheads that we have one of the best offenses in the SEC and Sellers stats are better than Arch Manning at the current moment.

Hopefully, we'll see continuation some continuation on Saturday. If we find a way to beat UT on the heels of that big UF win, I think it would be safe to say past sins have been reconciled.

Of course the coaching staff can be questioned starting with playcalling. However, they aren't responsible for fumbles, drops, and the like unless you actually believe ball security isn't emphasized?
