Really, how can they expect anyone to take them seriously as a real sports league when they can't even plan ahead well enough to have a place to play their finals game? It isn't like the Hawks schedule was some sort of secret that was sprung on them recently.

It’s not satire, though. They are actually playing the game at 12:30 PM on Thursday. They are actually not sure if they will be able to have the celebration on the court if the title is won on Thursday. They might have to move the celebration to a practice court.

WNBA feminists are pissed that the Hawks would not relinquish control of the court and reschedule their game, thus impacting the games and schedules of many other teams in the league, so they could have the WNBA game on Thursday night.

Rhat is literally how the ?nba operates. Their quality of play doesnt attract many people, so drama is used to catch eyeballs.

In the end, they dont really care, the nba comes along to pick up the check when they run out of money each season.

If given the choice between getting the arena for the night game OR having to take the afternoon slot but getting to play the victim card b/c the mean men's league wouldn't let you have the night slot, I have no doubts they are happy with the latter outcome.
