What kind of program goes into SEC play with no backup QB’s?

It is THE problem. We ain’t a poverty program, but we have to spend our money to try to compete for starters, given the neighborhood we live in. Depth also costs money, BIG money these days. I’ve posted this before, but we are an Audi program. Audis are fine cars, very much a luxury brand. The thing is, we are in a league that has a bunch of Bentley, Ferrari, and McLaren drivers. This is the new reality. The days of finding diamonds in the rough and developing them over 3-4 years are DONE.
I had an Audi once. It was a model year that had a fatal engine design flaw. So, solid comparison.

Its not just the losses. It is how we have looked as a team. We expected to be competitive in all those games and lost to an OK team not near as good as expected. The loss of one transcendent player has highlighted just how shockingly bad we still are on the oline and in QB depth. We have also reverted back to a very bad defensive team. We will indeed see how it plays out but we've seen this play before and know exactly how it ends.
No, last year State went into overtime on two games and lost and lost the Florida game on the late interception and most folks here said it didn't matter how we looked but that we lost. You can't have it both ways.
